The safety device for this type of combustor consists of a sensor formed by forming a solid electrolyte material such as stabilized zirconia into a plate shape, and contains unburned gas and intermediate products during normal combustion of the one-sided pilot burner of this sensor. The combustion flame (inside the outer flame) is brought into contact and heated, and an oxygen partial pressure difference is created between both sides of the sensor to generate an electromotive force. This electromotive force is supplied to the solenoid valve, which controls the gas passage. is held open. Utilizing the lift phenomenon of the combustion flame due to a decrease in the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere, the solenoid valve is closed by lowering the oxygen partial pressure difference between the two surfaces of the sensor during lift combustion.

Therefore, when changing the type of fuel gas supplied to the burner, the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere in which the burner starts lift combustion and the lift amount will change, so when closing the solenoid valve at a constant oxygen concentration, In practice, it is necessary to change the flame hole shape of the burner, leading to a problem of high cost.

Then, the gas stove 12 is operated, and in conjunction with this operation, the solenoid valve 11 is opened, and fuel is supplied to the main burner 1, the detection burner 4, and the ignition burner 9, and the ignition burner 9 is set to the ignition burner 9 by an ignition means (not shown). The ignition burner ignites the main burner 1 and the detection burner 4.
ignite it. Then, the sensor 6 is heated by the detection burner 4 and the auxiliary flame section 3 of the main burner 1 to lower its internal resistance, and one side 7 is in contact with the combustion flame containing intermediate products of the detection burner, and the other side 8 is in contact with the sensor 6. When the hot air flow with a relatively high oxygen concentration generated in the auxiliary flame section 3 comes into contact with the sensor 6, a difference in partial pressure of oxygen is generated between the two surfaces of the sensor 6, generating an electromotive force, and this electromotive force is transmitted to the solenoid valve. supply it. Solenoid valve 11
Even if the opening operation linked to the gas tank 12 is released, the internal valve body (not shown) can be maintained in the open state.

On the other hand, when the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere decreases, both the detection burner 4 and the main burner 1 are on the verge of lift combustion, and each combustion flame comes into contact with or approaches the sensor 6, so that the difference in oxygen partial pressure between both sides of the sensor 6 increases. Therefore, the sensor 6 reduces the electromotive force and the solenoid valve 11 shuts off.

Therefore, the oxygen concentration in the atmosphere and the lift amount of the combustion flame are correlated, and the relationship between the lift amount and the electromotive force of the sensor 6 is also determined by the positional relationship between the sensor 6 and the combustion flame. When changing the type of gas, the solenoid valve 11 can be closed at a predetermined oxygen concentration by changing the auxiliary flame section 3 according to the structure shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.

In addition, if the mixing pipe of the main burner 1 is clogged with dust or the like and incomplete combustion occurs, the combustion flame in the auxiliary flame section 3 is elongated and formed, even if the atmosphere has a normal oxygen concentration, as described above. The solenoid valve 11 is closed.

Furthermore, if the type of fuel gas specified by the appliance is different from the type of gas supplied, and when the amount of heat is higher than the specified type, the combustion of the main banner becomes a flame lacking primary air, and the other side 8 of the sensor 6 The partial pressure of oxygen decreases, closing the solenoid valve 11. Conversely, in the case of gas with a low calorific value, the combustion flame of the detection burner 4 becomes shorter and moves away from the sensor 6, so that the oxygen on one side 7 of the sensor 6 decreases. As the partial pressure increases and the partial pressure difference between the two surfaces decreases, the temperature of the sensor 6 decreases, internal resistance increases, and the solenoid valve 11 is closed.

As mentioned above, the combustor safety device according to the present invention has the following features:
A sensor is constructed by forming a solid electrolyte material into a plate shape, and one side of the sensor is in contact with the combustion flame containing intermediate products during normal combustion of the detection burner, and the other side is provided on the side of the main burner. a solenoid valve disposed so as to be in contact with exhaust gas near the combustion flame generated during normal combustion in the auxiliary flame section, and further opening and maintaining a fuel supply path to each of the burners by receiving an electromotive force greater than a set value from the sensor; The shape of the auxiliary flame section is configured to be changeable, and the electromotive force of the sensor is adapted to the type of fuel and the set amount of oxygen concentration. By making the shape changeable, the main burner etc. can be used for different types of gas, and the set value of the oxygen concentration for closing the solenoid valve can be easily adjusted.
