Claims (1)
- 回転軸に固定され冷却水を強制的に供給するポ
ンプインペラと、該ポンプインペラを内包し渦室
を形成するポンプハウジングと、前記ポンプイン
ペラの背後に配設されたメカニカルシールとより
なるウオータポンプにおいて、前記ハウジングの
前記ポンプインペラ外周部で渦室の締切部からイ
ンペラの回転方向と逆方向へ一部又は全周にわた
り、インペラ背面側とシユラウド側の少なくとも
一方にリング状の突起を設け、該突起の高さはイ
ンペラ背面側の場合は、インペラのデイスク外周
部の同等、シユラウド側の場合は、少なくともイ
ンペラ先端とオーバラツプする高さとしたことを
特徴とするウオータポンプ。
