Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the easy and sure removal of paper dust and to improve picture image quality by providing a member for removing paper dust in such a manner hat a conductive brush is brought into contact with the surface of a timing roller and the copying paper delivered by the timing roller. CONSTITUTION:The member 15 for removing paper dust formed by molding the fine brush 16 consisting of a stainless steel or carbon fibers, etc. integrally with a support having conductivity or sandwiching the same by aluminum sheets is provided in such a manner that the brush 16 contacts with the surface of one roller 11a and copying paper 10. The paper dust sticking on the timing roller 11a and the copying paper 10 is removed by the brushes 16, 16 made into such constitution. Since the brush 16 is formed of the conductive member and is grounded, the electrostatic charge thereof by friction is eliminated and the paper dust is easily removed. The copying paper surface is cleaned and fed to the transfer paper and therefore the image quality of a copy is improved.

Reference numeral 8 designates an optical system consisting of an exposure lamp, a reflector, and a lens for scanning the original on the platen glass and exposing the original image onto the photoreceptor 2. 9, 9a is copy paper 1 in the paper feed cassette
A pair of paper feed rollers 11 and 11a are used to feed copy sheets one by one. 12 is a timing roller; 12 is a conveyance means; 13 is a heating roller having an internal heat source; and 14 is a pressure roller that rotates in pressure contact with the other heating roller.

In a copying machine having such a configuration, copy paper 1° is fed by paper feed roller 9, and timing rollers 11, 11
Since the copy paper is fed by the roller a, the surface of the copy paper is rubbed by the roller and paper dust is generated. At the same time, when the paper is fed and transported, it is rubbed and charged, and paper dust is electrostatically attracted to the copy paper.

In addition, the paper powder is adsorbed to the photoreceptor 2 and reaches the cleaning means 7, where it is scraped off by the cleaning blade.
However, it also has the disadvantage that it invades the edge of the cleaning blade that is in pressure contact with the photoreceptor, reducing the cleaning ability and staining the surface of the next copying paper.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In order to achieve the above object, the present invention brings the copy paper fed by the paper feed roller to a -H stop F, and feeds the copy paper in synchronization with the timing at which an exposed image is formed on the photoreceptor. A paper dust removal member having a conductive brush is provided on the side of a pair of timing rollers that send out the paper dust, and the conductive brush of the paper dust removal member is sent out by one of the pair of timing rollers and the pair of timing rollers. It is arranged so that it comes into contact with the surface of the copy paper.

FIG. 2 is an enlarged side view of essential parts showing one embodiment of the present invention.
6 is a paper powder removing member, and 16 is a conductive brush. As shown in FIG. 3, this paper dust removing member 16 is formed by integrally molding a delicate brush 16 made of stainless steel or carbon fiber with a conductive support, or sandwiching it between aluminum plates. .

In this way, remove the paper powder adhering to the timing roller 11a with the brush mentioned above.
Also, paper dust on the copy paper is removed by one of the brushes, so the surface of the copy paper is cleaned and sent to the transfer section!
As a result, the toner on the photoreceptor 1- is transferred and fixed onto the copy paper 2 without being disturbed, so that a good copy can be obtained. At this time, since the brush is made of a conductive member and is grounded, frictional charging can be absorbed and eliminated, and paper dust can be easily removed.

In addition, in the above embodiment, two paper dust removing members each having a brush on one side are arranged in reverse.
It is no wonder that this can be formed in one piece. Also,
Providing a suction device (not shown) in the vicinity of the paper dust removing member is effective in removing paper dust.

Effects of the Invention As detailed above, according to the present invention, a conductive brush is brought into contact with the timing roller and the copy paper; and by providing a paper dust removal member, frictional electrification can be absorbed and eliminated. Since paper dust is removed from scratch, the paper dust can be removed very easily and reliably, resulting in the effect that copies of good quality without image disturbance can be obtained.
