り、定−着装量の熱が直接感光体につたわることがなく
感光体を傷つけることがなくなった。なお、本発明にお
ける実施例では遮断板にステンレス材料を用いだがステ
ンレスに限るものではなく、除電する機能を有するなら
ば何でもよく、たとえば銅板でもよい。また、定着装置
の熱が感光体に影響を与えない耐熱性の高いものであれ
ば本発明のような感光体側にある定着ガイドと遮断板と
を分割する必要もなく遮断板と前記定着ガイドとの一体
型の遮断板でもよい。
