の排気ガス浄化装置において、 前記2個のパテイキユレートフイルタの少なく
ともいずれか一方の上流側に設けられて捕集した
可燃性粒子の燃焼を促進させる触媒を噴射供給す
る噴射器と、該パテイキユレートフイルタのそれ
ぞれの下流側通路に設けられて該通路を開閉し前
記2個のパテイキユレートフイルタのいずれか一
方に排気を選択的に流す開閉手段と、該開閉手段
と前記パテイキユレートフイルタの間にエアーを
送り込むエアー送出手段とを有し、 前記開閉手段の一方を開放し他方を閉止するこ
とにより前記パテイキユレートフイルタの一方に
のみ排気を通し、該パテイキユレートフイルタに
より捕集した可燃性粒子の量が所定量を越えた時
に、他方のフイルタと該他方のフイルタ下流の閉
止されている前記開閉手段との間に前記エアー送
出手段によりエアーを送り込み、該他方のフイル
タに付着している前記噴射器から噴射供給された
触媒を該エアーにより逆流させて前記一方のフイ
ルタに供給し、該一方のフイルタの可燃性粒子の
燃焼を促進させるようにしたことを特徴とするエ
