装用のプリント回路板のスルーホール部内径は通常08
闘以下となっており、今後1すます細径化が要求される
反面、他の電子装置では現在でも直径1.1間等の内径
の大きなスルーホール部が必要となるため、より広範囲
なスルーホール部内径の相違に対応できる電気接触ピン
が必要とされている。しかし、上述のような従来の電気
接触ピンでは、スルーホール部との接触力や中間取付部
3のコーナー部5の対角上変位の関係からその吸収可能
なスルーホール部内径の範囲に限界が生じ、結局細径用
と太径用の2種類の電気接触ピンを準備しなけれはなら
ないという欠点があった。
