キズがつきにくいことが要望されている。とれは、溝の
表面又は円盤裏面にキズがつくと誤記録、誤再生および
雑音が混入する原因と彦るからである。

円盤と比べ、衝撃によるキズの発生や温度、湿度の変化
によるそり等の機械的な経時変化がはるかに少なく本発
明の目的を達成する効果を有する。
