Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
本発明は、金属製のもの或はメツキを施したも
の等の少なくとも上面が金属である基板の一部に
メツキによつて指標、マーク、模様等を形成して

上記の如き文字板の製造方法は従来より次のよ
うなものが知られている。例えば、黄銅に銀等の
メツキを施した文字板基板に、まずフオトレジス
ト法等により部分的にレジスト膜を施し、次に電
気メツキにて前記レジスト膜の施されていない部
分に金属層を形成し、最後にレジスト膜を溶剤で
除去する。このような従来の方法によれば指標等
が立体に形成されるが、一方基板表面は耐蝕性が
悪く、製造中或は時計ケースに組み込まれてから
も徐々に空気中の酸素や水分等と化合し、しみや
変色などを生じる。また製造時或はケースへ組み
込む時などに誤つて指で触れた場合、容易に汚れ

本発明は上記のような従来の欠点を解決し、耐
蝕性が良く汚れにくいメツキによる指標等を有し

次に実施例にて本発明を詳しく説明する。第1
図は本発明を説明する為の文字板の断面図であ
る。黄銅板1の上面に金属ブラシ等で目付けをし
た後金や銀等のメツキ属2を形成させる。これは
従来から行なわれている手法である。次に透明電
導性膜3を真空蒸着等の方法によつて形成する。
これは酸化インジウム、酸化スズ等が望ましい。
厚さは干渉によつて色や模様を故意に生じさせる
場合を除いて薄すぎない方がよい。次にレジスト
膜4をフオトレジスト法等によつて形成し、メツ
キにより金属層5をレジスト膜のない部分に形成
する。通電方法は、通電具6,6′で文字板を挾
持する等の方法が考えられる。このようにして指
標等を表わす金属層5が形成されたらレジスト膜
4を溶剤にて除去して完成する。この後、従来技
術である印刷や、夜光等を施すことは自由であ
