図中、1はクランク軸、2はカム軸、3はカム
軸駆動系、4は遊星歯車機構、5は内歯歯車、6
はカム、7はタイミング調節手段である。

おいて、上記カム軸とクランク軸との間に介設さ
れた遊星歯車機構と、該遊星歯車機構の内歯歯車
に設けられてこれを回転させて上記カム軸とクラ
ンク軸との位相角度を調節するタイミング調節手
段とを備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関のカム軸
