れており、前記モノリス触媒に関して、前記排気
ガス入口管の開口端からの距離が長い部分におけ
る排気ガスの通気抵抗は、前記開口端からの距離
が短い部分の排気ガスの通気抵抗よりも大きくさ
れていることを特徴とする触媒コンバータ。
