デーに設けた複数の把持爪をワーク端面に当接さ
せてワークを把持するフエースクランプチヤツク
において、 前記工作機械のスピンドル後方の駆動源によつ
て進退して前記スピンドル内に挿嵌された駆動軸
と、 該駆動軸と連結するねじの頭部により球面座金
を介して前記駆動軸との間で挾持され前記スピン
ドル軸線を含む平面内で揺動自在に中央部を支持
されると共に両端に球形係合部を形成した伝達部
材と、 該伝達部材の両端係合部に摺動可能に係合する
貫通穴を中央部に穿設し且つ両端に切り欠き溝を
形成すると共に該溝部背面を円弧突起とする一対
の係合部材と、 該係合部材の両端係合部に係合可能な小径部を
後方に形成すると共に先端に径方向に伸びた把持
爪を設け且つ側面外周に案内溝を有しチヤツクボ
デーに摺動可能に挿嵌された爪保持軸と、 該爪保持軸の案内溝に係合するべくチヤツクボ
デー外周に設けられた案内棒とから成り、ワーク
の把持爪当接面の変化に影響されず均等に把持す
