Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the forming surface from roughening by providing a through-hole on a forming spatula, and also making a cooling medium pass through its through-hole. CONSTITUTION:A forming spatula 15 is made to abut onto the end part of a rotating cylindrical body 13, and forming of the end part of the cylindrical body 13 is executed. A V-shaped through-hole 17 is pierced in the forming spatula, and also fixtures 19, 21 are placed in both end openings 23, 25. Subsequently, rubber conduits 27, 29 are connected to the fixtures 19, 21, respectively, and a cooling medium is made to pass through the through-hole 17. According to this method, even if a rotary forming is executed continuously, the forming spatula 15 is not overheated.
