Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a bonding agent precisely from expansion to the effective diameter surface of a lens at the fixing of the lens on a mirror frame by forming bonding agent collecting grooves on the outer peripheral surface of a lens to be held and the lens holding surface of a lens holding part on the mirror frame side. CONSTITUTION:The grooves 10 are formed on the whole outer peripheral surface of the lens 1 in the direction rectangular to a center line (optical axis) 9 so that the bonding agent 5a trying to drop from an adhesion layer (bonding agent) 5 formed between the outer peripheral surface of the lens 1 and the inner peripheral surface of a lens storing part 3 of the mirror frame 2 made of plastic or metal can be collected into the grooves. Grooves 12 are also formed on the lens holding surface 11 of the lens holding part 4 of the mirror frame 2 so that one side of the grooves 12 are aligned on the same surface as the inner peripheral surface of the lens storing part 3 to collect the bonding agent 5a trying to drop through the inner peripheral surface of the lens storing part 3. The grooves 12 are formed also on the whole periphery similarly to the grooves 10.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a structure for fixing and holding a lens to a lens frame via an adhesive, a structure as shown in FIG. 6, for example, has been adopted. That is, the lens holding structure shown in FIG. 6 is a lens in which the lens 1 is dropped into the lens storage rope part 3 of the lens frame 2, and this lens 1 is provided to protrude in the radial direction from the inner peripheral surface of the lens frame 2. It is configured so that it can be supported in a predetermined position by a holding part 4, and an adhesive 5 is applied to the annular gap between the lens 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the lens storage part 3 in the lens frame 2 using a syringe or a needle-shaped tip. The lens 1 is fixedly held on the lens frame 2 by filling and hardening it through a shaped rod member 6.

In addition, in the above lens holding structure, an example was shown in which the adhesive 5 is filled after the lens 1 is stored in the lens storage part 3, but as shown in FIG. 7, the lens 1 is stored in the lens frame 2. A method of applying (adhering) the adhesive 5 before applying the adhesive is also generally used. That is, in this method, the lens 1 is rotated around the optical axis 1, the adhesive 5 is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the lens 1 via the needle-like rod member 6, and then the lens 1 is attached to the lens frame 2 ( ') Inside the lz7X storage section 3'.It is a means for storing and holding the lens l on the lens frame 2 by hardening. In this holding configuration, the lens l is attached to the lens frame in exactly the same way as in Fig. 6. It is fixed and held at 2.

According to the above structure, the presence of the groove part 7 slightly prevents the adhesive 5 from seeping out, but since the bottom surface of the groove part 7 and the lens holding surface of the lens holding part 4 are formed on the same plane,
Adhesive 5 passes (transmits) through the lens edge and the bottom of the groove 7
may go around the effective diameter plane of lens 1 and protrude,
There was a problem that the product would start to wilt. In particular, when the adhesive 5 of low viscosity was filled, the above-mentioned problem occurred significantly.

As shown in the figure, a groove 10 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of a lens 1 made of plastic in a direction perpendicular to a center line (optical axis) 9, and a groove 10 is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the lens 1 and a lens frame 2 made of plastic or metal. It is formed around the entire circumference of the lens 1 so as to collect the adhesive 5a which is about to flow down from the adhesive layer (adhesive) 5 interposed between the lens accommodating part 3 and the inner peripheral surface of the lens accommodating part 3.

A groove 12 is also formed in the lens holding surface 11 of the lens holding part 4 in the lens frame 2, and the groove 412 is designed to collect the adhesive 5a that is about to flow down along the inner peripheral surface of the lens housing part 3. The fi 12 is formed so that one side thereof is flush with the inner circumferential surface of the lens housing portion 3. Similar to the groove 10, a12 is also recessed over the entire circumference.

According to the above configuration, the adhesive 5a that is transmitted between the outer periphery of the lens l and the inner peripheral surface of the lens storage portion 3 and tries to protrude onto the lens surface is all accumulated in the alO, so that the adhesive 5 is directed toward the lens surface. It is possible to reliably prevent the protrusion. Also, in the unlikely event that some of the adhesive 5 protrudes from the lens housing 3.
Even if the adhesive flows down to the lens holding surface 11 along the inner circumferential surface, all of the adhesive remains in the groove 12 and does not flow toward the lens surface. As a result, the quality and reliability of the lens system can be improved, and the work of removing adhesive that has protruded from the adhesive layer is no longer necessary, so that the number of assembly work steps can be reduced.
