Abstract

PURPOSE:To get rugged facing material which have cavity figure of both clear and matted condition by a method wherein a base material is painted with hardening resin after desired figures are painted on the surface of it, and cavity figures are formed on the said material being passed through between a heat roll and a press roll. CONSTITUTION:The desired figures 2 are printed by the gravure printing method at the parts to form cavities by ink which uses hardening resin containing pearl gray, matting agent and colorant as a vehicle after adequate pre-processing is applied as necessary on the surface of the base material such as cloth etc. Then the said ink is hardened by heat or light, and thereon a resin layer 3 is formed by hardening resin being painted and hardened by the gravure method. Furthermore, the objective facing material is got by the said base material 1 being passed through between the said heating roll 5 and the press roll 6 so as to contact to the heating roll 5, and cavities 4 are formed by removing the said resin layer 3.

Conventionally, in the manufacturing method of uneven decorative materials having a concave-convex pattern on the surface, the decorative material is produced and then pressed with another mold such as an embossing roll to form the concave pattern. However, with the former method, it is difficult to form recesses that match the pattern, and with the latter method, the corners of the recesses are rounded and the recess pattern is unclear.
It has the disadvantage of poor work efficiency because it takes a long time to cure.

First, as shown in Figure 1, after applying appropriate pretreatment to the surface of the base material (1) as necessary, ink is applied as a vehicle of a curable resin containing burl grains, a matting agent, and a coloring agent. Accordingly, a desired pattern (2) is formed in the concave portion by a known printing method such as a gravure printing method, an offset printing method, a screen printing method, or a flexo printing method.

After this ink is cured by heat or light, a curable resin is applied thereon by any method such as a gravure method or a roll coater method, and then cured to form a resin layer (3).

Next, the base material (1) on which the resin layer (3) has been formed is passed between a heat roll (5) and a pressure roll (6) as shown in FIG. Layer (3) is heated roll (

The heat roll (5) needs to be kept at a temperature that softens the curable resin to some extent, and the temperature of the heat roll softens the surface of the resin layer (3) and causes it to adhere to the surface of the heat roll, causing the resin to soften. The adhesive strength between the layer (3) and the hot roll (5) is
The adhesive force between pattern (2) and pattern (2) is greater than that of pattern (2), and only the resin layer on pattern (21) adheres to the surface of the hot roll and is removed.

This difference in adhesive strength is caused by the pearl grains contained in the ink being exposed on the surface of the pattern (2), and the resin layer in the area where the pattern (2) is not formed is attached to the base material (

Reaction-curing printing inks such as polyisocyanate-based printing inks and ultraviolet or electron beam-curing printing inks are preferred as inks, but solvent evaporation printing inks such as polyamide-based and polyvinyl alcohol-based printing inks are also used. can do. The pearl grain contained in this printing ink must be contained in an amount of 10 parts by weight or more. If this burl grain is not added, it is not possible to effectively create the difference in adhesive strength as described above (・Not only that, but the printing ink on the release film is prone to cohesive failure, making it difficult to reuse it at most once. On the other hand, when it is added, it becomes possible to use the medium-sized portion repeatedly, and its industrial value is extremely high.

<Example> Basis weight 23 F! /m" thin-fed printing paper using a gravure printing method. Next, using a hardening type ink containing pearl grains, a pattern of conduit grooves that matches the wood grain pattern is printed and hardened.Next. The surface is coated with urethane resin by gravure method, and after drying with hot air at 120℃
The surface is applied to a heated iron roll and hot pressed, and only the resin layer above the pearl grain ink adheres to the iron roll surface and is removed, creating a matte conduit groove that perfectly matches the pattern. A natural veneer-like textured decorative sheet having a pattern of depressions was obtained.
