ブXI〜Xnにはカーソル1のコイルによって誘導起゛
f15力か生じるから、この起電力を増幅器4.で増幅
した後、サンプルホールド回路5によって検出された各
ループコイルX 1−Xnのピーク値をAD変換器6に
よってディジタル信号に変換し、このディジタル信号を
一旦メモリ等に記憶させるなどして、マイクロコンピュ
ータ7でコイルの位置、即ちカーソルの位置を算出して
いる。

号を初めに発したループコイルをXk とすると、今回
