[Detailed Description of the Invention] In the conventional bank online system, the central processing unit updates the account number at once every time a new transaction is made from the terminal device while online, but the central processing unit In the event of a failure of a communication line or a failure of a communication line, and if business is to be continued using terminal devices only, the task of assigning account numbers for new transactions is generally not performed, or account number ledgers are created for each terminal device or branch. They had prepared a number and numbered it manually.

For this reason, if we continue processing only with the terminal device, we will not be able to process new transactions, so we will have to reduce the functionality to a large extent, which will have a large impact on business operations. Not only did this increase operation time, but it also led to double search, which posed a major problem in finding central processing unit failures and line failures.

The purpose of this invention is to automate the assignment of account numbers in new transactions, including countermeasures against central processing unit failures and line failures, and to unify grandchild numbers.
While online, the central processing unit performs batch processing, and when switching to offline, the numbering cycle is changed to
We will adopt a method of handing over the information from the central processing unit to the terminal device.

The feature of this invention is that in the terminal device, normally while online,
Always obtain the latest account number from the central processing unit,
When it is sensed that it has become disconnected from the central processing unit, the account number for subsequent new transactions will be the grandchild number of the latest account number at the time of disconnection from the central processing unit. When the connection state with the central processing unit is restored again, numbering at the terminal device is stopped and the final account number obtained by the grandchild number on the terminal device is transmitted to the central processing unit, and the central processing unit continues to enter the grandchild number at the terminal device. The grandchild counting is performed again starting from the last account number. Next, embodiments of the present invention will be explained using figures.

The figure shows the procedure for finding an account number in a terminal device and central processing unit in a new transaction, where I is the terminal device, 2 is the central processing unit, 3 is the operation unit, and 4 is the numbering data storage. mechanism, 5 is a transmitting circuit, 6 is a line monitoring circuit, 7 is a communication line, 8 is a communication control unit, 9 is a central search circuit, 10 is an account data file, 11 is a receiving circuit, 12 is a terminal subnumber circuit, 1
3 indicates a printing section. Typically, a central processing unit 2 and a terminal device 1
The data operated as a new transaction from the operation unit 3 of the terminal device 1 in the online state where the and , the data is directly transmitted from the transmitting circuit 5 to the central processing unit 2 via the communication line 7. When the central processing unit 2 recognizes that the data received by the communication control unit 8 is new transaction data, it activates the central numbering circuit 9 and assigns an account number. At the same time, a newly assigned account number area is secured in the account data file 10. Further, the central processing unit 2 creates response data for the terminal device 1. The response data includes the new account number numbered by the central numbering circuit 9, and is returned to the terminal device 1 via the communication control section 8 and the communication line 7. When the terminal device 1 recognizes that the data received by the receiving circuit 11 is response data regarding a new transaction from the central processing unit 2, it stores the new account number at a predetermined position in the response data in the numbering data storage mechanism 4. Make me remember. The response data is printed on the printing section as response data for a new transaction from the central processing unit 2. On the other hand, if the line monitoring circuit 6 indicates that it is disconnected from the central processing unit 2 when operated as a new transaction from the operation unit 3, the terminal device 1 activates its own terminal grandchild number circuit 12. do.
At that time, the number that becomes the starting point of the grandchild number is the grandchild number data storage mechanism 4.
1 is added to the number stored in , and the numbering result is stored again in the numbering data storage mechanism 4 and used for the next new transaction. The operator is notified of the transaction result by printing on the printing unit 13, including the new account number. While repeating such operations, the line monitoring circuit 6 detects that the central processing unit 2
When the terminal device 1 indicates that the connection has been restored, the terminal device 1 immediately stops the grandchild number circuit 12, and uses the search number data stored in the grandchild number data storage mechanism 4 as the final account number obtained by the terminal device 1 as the final account number. Transmission circuit 5 and communication line 7 to processing device 2
Send via. The central processing unit 2 corrects the central grandchild number circuit 9 and secures and corrects the account data file 10 as post-processing of the account number updated while being separated from the terminal device 1. In this way, by always performing search numbers in one place, it is possible to eliminate small number numbers and prevent double number numbers, and even when the terminal device 1 is separated from the central processing unit 2, new transactions can be made easily. This makes it possible to implement business processes that require numbering such as. As described above, according to the present invention, the numbering operations in the bank online system can be completely automated, and it is also possible to expand offline operations using only terminal devices during offline operations. Also, by centralizing the search cycle, the account data file held by the central processing unit will also be
This eliminates the need for a dual structure for online and offline use, and also has the effect of preventing file processing from becoming more complicated.
