Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a film splicing device which is cheap and capable of treating any kinds of film material, by utilizing an adhesive roller so that an adhesive part provided to the leading end of a film is connected to the trailing end of a preceding film. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive means 5 is composed of a holding arm 51 for holding the adhesive surface of an adhesive section 23' directed to a carrier roller 3, and an adhesive roller 53 which receives a signal from a sensor 4 for detecting the trailing end of a film 22 and which rolls in the same direction as that of the carrier roller 3 at a peripheral speed higher than the peripheral speed of the roller 3 while pressing the film 22 against carrier roller 3.
