Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 従来の洗車用方法は無数の柔軟な合成樹脂長繊維を回動
軸に植設してなる洗車用ローラによるものであったため
、回動速度を上げて長繊維を車体に叩きつけることによ
って泥等の附着物を分離し散水で洗浄するものであった
ため回転数を上げる必要があり、かつ汚水が飛散するば
かりでなく洗浄後の拭き取りを行うことは困難である。
特に長繊維を車体に叩きつけるため車体表面の塗装に無
数の微細な損傷を与え、表面の光沢を消失するばかりで
なく防錆力を著しく低下させる欠陥があった。
本発明は上記欠陥を解消することを目的とするものであ
って、上部および両側部に洗車用ローラを設けてなる洗
車機において、上記ローラに吸水して車体表面の附着物
を拭き取った後、同ローラを脱水して車体表面上の水滴
を同ローラに吸水することを特徴とする洗車方法に関す
るものである。
本発明を図面に示す実施例について説明すると、水平方
向又は垂直方向の回動軸１に軸方向間隔ｔを置いて複数
の吸水性柔軟スポンジ板２を互に平行にかつ回動軸１と
直角に設けてなるものである。
上記スポンジ板２の外周は円形（第２図、第３図）、角
形（第４図）或は波形（第５図）等であって回動軸】の
回りに同心状に設けられる。上記スポンジ板２は交互に
斜交して設けても差支えないし回動軸１の回りに螺旋状
に設けても良い。螺旋状に設けるとそのピッチが間隔ｔ
となる。上記スポンジ板２は柔軟で曲り易いが比較的腰
が強く吸水するに充分な厚さを有するものである。尚図
中３は切込み部である。
本発明では第６図に示すように洗車機４の上部および両
側部に回動軸１を支持し、駆動装置に接続して低速ｉ動
させ上記スポンジ板２に吸水させると同吸不スポンジ板
２も回動軸１の回りに回転する。この状態において自動
車５を第６図に示すように同スポンジ板２に当接移動さ
せると、スポンジ板２の外周部は車体表面６に面接摺動
して同表面６を濡らしかつ表面６の耐着物を拭き取る。
自動車５が上記スポンジ板２から離れた後同板２に散水
してこれを洗浄した後回動軸１を急速回転させてスポン
ジ板２内の水分を遠心力によって発散させ（絞り出し］
て脱水し、脱水スポンジ板２を低速回転させて上述同様
に自動車５を同板２に当接移動させると、車体表面６上
の洗浄水滴は同スポンジ板２に吸水されこれを同板２で
拭き取るものである。
本発明は上述の方法によったので、上記ローラが車体表
面６に面状に接し、かつ同板２内の水分が接触圧で滲出
して表面６を濡らし、同表面６に耐着している泥等の汚
物を拭き取るものであるから、車体表面６への蕪数の長
繊維の叩打による微細傷を発生するおそれがなく、表面
６の光沢の消失を防止し得て防錆力の低下が少く塗装の
耐久性を保持し得るばかりでなく、上記ローラ内の吸水
を絞り出しこれで車体表面６の水滴を拭き取るので汚水
の飛散が無くかつ動力の消費を軽減し得る効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）上部および両側部に洗車用ローラ７．７を設けて
    なる洗車機４において、上記ローラ７．７に吸水して車
    体表面６の附着物を拭き取った後、同ローラ７．７を脱
    水して車体表面６上の水滴を同ローラ７．７に吸水する
    ことを特徴とする洗車方法０
