  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １　ターボチャージャのタービンの出口側に動力、回収
    用タービンを接続し、この動力回収用タービンによって
    回収された動力を□ギヤトレーンを介してクランクシャ
    フトに伝達するようにしたエンジンにおいて、このエン
    ジンのシリンダブロックとフライホイールハウジングと
    の間にギヤケースを設け、このギヤケース内に前記ギヤ
    トレーンを配するようにしたことを特徴とするターボコ
    ンパウンドエンジン。 ２　前記ギヤトレーン内のギヤの１つにパワーテークオ
    フ用の出力軸が設けられていることを特徴とする実用新
    案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載のターボコンパウンドエ
    ンジン。
