Claims

In a catalytic converter in which catalysts are arranged in series with a gap in a shell forming an exhaust gas introduction path, and a secondary air introduction pipe is inserted into the gap, the insertion tip of the secondary air introduction pipe is provided. A catalytic converter characterized in that a hole is formed in the shell wall facing the opening, and a plug is attached to the hole to be slidably connected to the insertion tip of the secondary air introduction pipe and close the opening.
