Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a mold at low cost and in a short manufacturing process by applying mold lubricant and surfacial cost resin in that order on the surface of a master model in a wooden framework, injecting reinforcing filler resin into a clearance between the wooden framework and the master model and removing the master model after the curing of resin. CONSTITUTION:A master model 12 is introduced into a wooden framework 11. Next, a mold lubricant is applied on the surface of the master model 12. After this procedure, a superficial coat resin 13 is applied on the surfaces of the wooden framework 11 and the master model 12. This resin 13 is applied for smoothing out the surface of a mold to be obtained. Following this step, a reinforcing filler epoxy resin 14 mixed with e.g. additives such as sand and iron powder is filled into a clearance between the wooden framework 11 and the master model 12. After this resin was cured, the master model 12 is removed to obtain a mold 15. Thus it is made possible to manufacture a mold at low cost and in a short process.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, this type of mold is manufactured as follows. First, as shown in FIG. 1(a), a master model 1 having the same dimensions and shape as the product obtained by molding is prepared. From this master model 1, an inverted lower wooden mold 2a and an upper main mold 2b are made from resin as shown in FIG.

That is, in the present invention, a master model is placed in a wooden frame, a mold release agent is applied to the surface of the master model, a surface coating resin is applied, and a reinforcing filling resin is then applied to the gap between the wooden frame and the master model. The method is characterized in that after the resin has solidified, the master model is removed to form a mold.

以下本発明方法を図示する実施例を参照して説明する。The method of the present invention will be explained below with reference to illustrative examples.

First, as shown in FIG. 2(A), a wooden frame 11 is assembled, and the master model 12 is placed inside it as shown in FIG. 2(B). The master model 12 has the same shape and dimensions as the resin molded product manufactured using the mold according to the present invention. Next, the master model 12 in the wooden frame 11

This resin 13 is applied to smooth the surface of the resulting mold, and is preferably applied to a thickness of about 0.2 to 3 m. As the resin, for example, a mixture of epoxy resin and additives such as iron powder and aluminum powder is used. In this case, these additives are added to 100 parts by weight of epoxy resin in order to make the resin surface smooth.
It is preferable to add as little as 0 to 80 parts by weight.

As this resin, for example, a mixture of epoxy resin and additives such as sand, calcium carbonate, iron powder, aluminum powder, etc. is used. In this case, the additive should be added in an amount of 100 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the epoxy resin in order to increase resin strength.
It is preferable to add as much as 600 parts by weight.

However, according to the lever method, a mold can be manufactured simply by filling the space between the master model coated with a mold release agent and the wooden frame, and then removing the master after the resin hardens, making it an inexpensive and short process. It has remarkable effects, such as being able to be manufactured using C-〈.
