部が入口側と出口側とで交互に目封じされたトラップを
排気通路に介装してなる内燃機関の排気微粒子捕集装置
において、前記セルの隔壁を除去して、セル開口より大
きな上流側と下流側とを連通ずる貫通孔を前記トラップ
内中央部付近に形成したことを特徴とする内燃機関の排
気微粒子捕集装置。An exhaust particulate collection device for an internal combustion engine comprising a trap in an exhaust passage in which the ends of adjacent cells of a cam-shaped body made of a porous material are alternately sealed on the inlet side and the outlet side.
