  1. 複数の駆動機を有する乗客コンベヤと、この乗客コンベ
    ヤの乗降客を検出する乗客検出装置と、この乗客検出装
    置の出力により乗客数を演算す各とともに乗客数に応じ
    て前記駆動機の個数を増減させる演算制御装置とを備え
    たことを特徴とする乗客コンベヤ装置。
