Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a cosmetic base, by washing the dried leaves of KUROHA- GINNANSO (Chondrus yendoi), AKAHA-GINNANSO (Chondrus ocellatus) or their mixture with water, immersing the leaves in water to reconstitute to raw algae, irradiating with ultraviolet radiation, and drying and pulverizing the product. CONSTITUTION:The KUROHA-GINNANSO, AKAHA-GINNANSO or their mixture (red algae produced in the coastal waters of HOKKAIDO Island, Japan) is dried, and the dried leaves are washed with water, and immersed in water for about 15min to reconstitute to raw algae. The product is irradiated with ultraviolet radiation, dried, and pulverized to obtain the objective cosmetic base. The UV-irradiation is carried out until the reconstituted leaves having wet surface becomes whitish (usually for 2-6hr). Dissolution of the resultant fine powder in water gives viscous liquid, which has lubricating and moistening effect to solften, tighten and smoothen the skin.

However, producing kappa-type carrageenan from the above-mentioned raw rose requires steps such as alkaline branding, extraction treatment, dehydration treatment, and drying treatment, and the production cost is also disadvantageous.

The present inventor is currently at the stage of considering a method for producing carrageenan by using these red algae as raw algae, as a new use of Red algae or Red algae, which are produced in large quantities in the waters around Hokkaido. The dried leaves of these raw algae are immersed in water to return to the raw algae state, then irradiated with ultraviolet rays, dried, and pulverized. The resulting powder is dissolved in water and is used as the basis for cosmetics. The present invention was made based on the finding that the compound is suitable as a drug.

In the tree invention, it is important to dry the raw algae and collect only the leaf bodies, wash the leaf bodies with water, and then immerse them in water to return them to the raw algae state. Irradiation does not yield the desired base.

The above-mentioned return treatment is preferably carried out by immersing the washed leaves in water for about 15 minutes. Then, ultraviolet rays are irradiated onto the leaves that have been reconstituted in this way while still wet. It is preferable that this ultraviolet irradiation is carried out until the lobes take on a whitish color. Usually, the period of time is about 2 to 6 hours. Note that if this ultraviolet irradiation is performed on a small scale, solar drying may be used instead.

その場合は1日当υ数時間で2日間程度行う。In that case, do it for about 2 days for a few hours a day.

When the fine powder obtained in the above-mentioned manner is dissolved in water, it becomes a viscous liquid, which is used as a base for cosmetics. For example, when the above liquid is added when preparing cosmetics such as lotions and creams, it has the same effect on the skin as Zimda carrageenan, which is conventionally used as the above base.
That is, when applied to the skin, it has a lubricating and moisturizing effect that makes the skin soft, firm, and smooth.

Incidentally, since Black-crowned nightwort and Red-backed rock-hard are rich in vitamins B1 and B2 + amino acids and minerals, they have traditionally been used as raw materials for plaster, as if they were derived from the above-mentioned original algae. It has the advantage of being able to provide a base for cosmetics that exhibits skin effects comparable to kappa carrageenan by a simple method from Kappa carrageenan and Kappa carrageenan, which have been used only in Japan.

Example 1 After immersing 1 to 9 pieces of D. japonica dried to 22 g of water in 3 j of water for 20 minutes, the water was drained and the pieces were placed in a cylindrical wire mesh and irradiated with ultraviolet rays for about 2 hours while rotating. This irradiation causes the thallus to turn white. Cut off the stems that do not turn white, and dry only one leaf by ventilation drying until the moisture content is less than 10%, and grind it into a fine powder using a pulverizer. white fine powder 32
