  1. 下部に被検物を検出する観察窓を有する検出器が昇降す
    る孔と、この検出器の昇降孔の上部に設けた上記検出器
    を昇降可能に支持する検出器昇降支持部材と、上記検出
    器を囲む様に、上記支持部材と上記昇降孔の間に設けた
    伸縮シール体と、上記観察窓を開閉する旋回蓋を備えて
    なる炉内物体検出装置。
