In FIG. 1, ■ indicates a condensing lens 11, a photoelectric conversion element 12 behind it, an operational amplifier 2], a DC coupling circuit 22 and an AC coupling circuit 23 connected in parallel to the operational amplifier 21, and the AC coupling circuit 23 connected in parallel to the operational amplifier 21. The sensor section 1 is connected to an envelope detection circuit 24 and a comparator 25, and the output of the sensor section 1 is guided to a signal processing section 2 located at a remote location such as a monitoring room. This signal processing section 2 is connected to an analog multiplexer 31. 3
2 and an encoder 33. This encoder 33 uses 1, for example, 8 bits. In addition, the envelope detection circuit 24
As shown in Fig. 2, two diodes 35, 36 and one resistor 37 are connected to the input part of the operational amplifier 34, the (-) component is removed by the detection action, and the resistor 38 and capacitor 39 are connected.
The configuration is such that high frequency components are removed by an integrating circuit consisting of , and only peaks are detected.

Now, in this sensor unit 1, when there is a change in the brightness of the space due to fire flames or smoke, the photoelectric conversion element obtains a conversion output, and the DC component is extracted by the DC coupling circuit 22 via the operational amplifier 21 and the brightness is determined. In addition to obtaining a voltage proportional to the flame, the AC coupling circuit 23 extracts the AC voltage to obtain the characteristic frequency of the flame. Furthermore, the output of this AC coupling circuit 23 is subjected to envelope detection in an envelope detection circuit 24, and the comparator 2 detects an exchange that is above a certain threshold level.
5 is taken out, and this signal is led to the input terminal of the 8-bit encoder 33 of the signal processing section 2, for example, at the position ■, and a predetermined code is outputted to the analog multiplexer 31.
32 and processes the sensor signals to determine whether there is a fire or not. In other words, depending on which input terminal of the encoder 33 receives the signal, it can be determined which sensor section 1 is activated. Envelope detection is performed in the section, and signals above a certain level obtained through the comparator are scanned by the encoder and the analog multiplexer, which serves as an analog switch.Even if there are many fire detectors, only one signal processing section is required. Often, the sensor unit that detects eye changes can be monitored throughout the floor.
