However, under the harsh operating conditions of today's spinning mills,
The carburizing and quenching treatment lacks wear resistance against the traveler, resulting in insufficient longevity, and since quenching is performed at high temperatures, heat treatment distortion occurs and the spinning is disturbed. .

In addition, some rings for spinning machines made of nitrided alloy steel are used, but the Fe-N nitrogen compound layer formed on the surface is brittle and easily peels off, so the compound layer falls off in the early stages of use. The traveling surface of the traveler becomes rough and the traveler cannot run smoothly, resulting in a shortened lifespan of the traveler and the ring.

In order to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional rings for spinning machines, the present invention incorporates at least one nitride-forming alloying element such as A10.2 to 2.0% and Cr 0.2 to 26.0%. The present invention provides a ring for a spinning machine which has high wear resistance and low distortion by subjecting the alloy steel containing the carbon dioxide to soft nitriding or nitriding treatment and forming the surface layer with a nitrogen diffusion layer.

以下本発明の紡機用リングを実施例に基づいて説明する

As shown in the cross-sectional hardness distribution curve in the figure, ring A for spinning machines of the present invention shows a significantly higher hardness distribution than ring C for spinning machines made of conventional low carbon steel carburized and quenched, and almost as hard as conventional nitrided ring B. Maintains constant surface hardness. Fig. 3 shows a comparative diagram of distortion in the ring inner diameter when the ring inner diameter is 45Tm, and the ring A for spinning machines of the present invention has a heat treatment distortion because the nitriding temperature is lower than the conventional carburizing and quenching temperature of 800 to 950°C. becomes significantly smaller.

Since the spinning machine ring of the present invention is ion-nitrided under the above conditions, a brittle Fe-N compound layer is formed on the surface, and the surface layer forms a nitrogen diffusion layer, resulting in a cross-sectional hardness similar to that of Example 1. A ring for spinning machines with good distribution and structure, good conformability, and good wear resistance can be obtained.

As mentioned above, the ring for a spinning machine of the present invention is AIO. 2-2.
0%, CrO. After performing soft nitriding or nitriding treatment on alloy steel containing at least one type of 2 to 26.0%, the compound layer generated on the steel surface is removed, or nitriding is performed under conditions that do not generate a compound layer. treatment to form a nitrogen diffusion layer on the surface layer, and since there is no brittle Fe-N compound layer on the surface, the traveler fits well from the beginning of use, and the surface hardness is high and wear resistant. This invention has excellent effects such as significantly extending the service life, and furthermore, since the ring is less distorted by heat treatment, the traveling of the traveler is stable and the spinning quality is significantly improved.
