Claims (3)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）現像剤を担持して搬送しながらこの現像剤を像担
    持体に付着させて現像を行う現像剤担持体と、この現像
    剤担持体に対向しこれと相対移動することにより前記現
    像剤担持体によって搬送される現像剤の層厚を規制する
    規制用現像剤担持体とを具備することを特徴とする現像
    装置。
  2. （２）規制用現像剤担持体は、前記現像剤担持体との間
    に印加されている電圧により分極化されて現像剤担持体
    との間で静電的に拘束されている現像剤をその中間部か
    ら分離して搬送し、現像剤担持体で搬送される現像剤の
    層厚を規制する、　　ものである実用新案登録請求の範
    囲第１項に記載の現像装置。
  3. （３）　　規制用現像剤担持体は、前記現像剤担持体と
    対抗する部分がこの現像剤担持体とはほぼ逆方向に移動
    することにより、現像剤担持体との間に進入する現像剤
    に対し剪断力を作用し、現像剤担持体で搬送される現像
    剤の層厚を規制するものである実用新案登録請求の範囲
    第１項又は第２項に記載の現像装置。
