第４図はカラーセンサ部分の側面図、第５図はサーマル
インクリボンの各色素の分光感度特性を示す図、第６図
はホトトランジスタの受光レベルとサーマルインクリボ
ンの色素の種類との関係を示す図、第７図は要部の電気
的構成を示す図である。 図中、４は印字用紙、９はサーマルヘッド、１５はサー
マルインクリボン、１５ａは帯状部、１７はカラーセン
サである。

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 複数色の色素が長さ方向に区分して塗布され、印字情報
    及び前記色素の位置を検知するように設けられた光学的
    カラーセンサからの位置情報に基づいたサーマルヘッド
    の発熱に応じて該色素が印字用紙に選択的に熱転写され
    るものにおいて、前記各色素の境界部分に透明な帯状部
    を形成したことを特徴とする熱転写形プリンタのサーマ
    ルインクリボン。
