Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable application onto different parts and repeated usage, by employing a cassette where the part is held between two sheets of tape and wound previously around a reel. CONSTITUTION:A reel 13 wound with a pair of separatable belts 11, 12 is provided in a transparent case 10 having a notch. A magic tape having countless micro hooks made of synthetic resin, as well as conventional adhesive tape, can be used as said belt. The part to be fed automatically is held previously between said belts 11, 12. Upon reaching to the part feeding section 21, the tapes 11, 12 are separated at the roller 16 and wound around the reels 14, 15. At the portion between the rollers 16 and 17, the part 20 held between the belts 11, 12 is exposed to be fed to an assembler.

Conventionally, when supplying parts to an assembly device, a vibrating component supply device as shown in FIG. 1 and a pallet or stocker as shown in FIG. 2 have been used. However, in any case, these devices require more installation space than the method of manually removing components from a simple box or bag, and there is a bottleneck in constructing a cell that assembles many components at one assembly station. It had become.
