In the present invention, a high viscosity coating material is applied in layers to the surface to be painted where a pattern is to be formed. Before the high viscosity coating material dries and hardens, the high viscosity coating material is applied onto the top surface of the convex portion of the surface to be painted. This is a method to obtain a painted surface with a unique multicolored color by drying and curing the remaining highly viscous coating material after removal.

The surface to be painted may be made into an uneven surface by directly applying mechanical processing to a smooth plate surface, or may be made into an uneven surface by applying a thick coating material to the plate surface. The uneven patterned surface can use the original color of the material as it is, but if you want to change it to a desired color, form an undercoat film, and then apply this paint film to the coating. Make it a face.
The undercoat film may be of a single color or may be of a desired pattern using multiple colors. As the undercoat paint for forming the undercoat film, general paints with high hiding power can be used. Examples of these paints include lacquer, melamine baking paint, melamine-acrylic baking paint, polyurethane paint, acrylic resin paint,
Vinyl chloride resin paints, vinyl acetate resin paints, synthetic resin blend paints, nonaqueous emulsion paints, cement water paints, silicic acid paints, and the like can be used, and can be appropriately selected from commercially available products. The high viscosity coating material is
It must be colorless and semi-transparent, or colored and semi-transparent with a color different from the color of the surface to be painted.

This highly viscous coating material has a non-volatile content of approximately 60% (by weight).
above, and the viscosity (Brutskfield viscometer (
When measured with a rotational viscometer) is approximately 5000 to 1
The viscosity is preferably thixotropic and has a high viscosity of about 0,000 CCps. Any colorless vehicle can be used for the highly viscous coating material. For example, synthetic resin emulsion, oil-modified alkyd varnish, nonaqueous emulsion resin, acrylic resin, vinyl acetate resin, vinyl chloride resin, acrylic-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin, vinyl acetate-
Ethylene copolymer resin, styrene acrylic copolymer resin, polyurethane resin, nitrocellulose, water-soluble alkyd, polyester resin, silicone resin, colloidal silica, etc. can be used. The pigments contained in highly viscous coating materials are mainly extender pigments that have almost no hiding power, such as calcium carbonate, clay, silica, glass powder, quartz powder, talc, mica, aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide, and white carbon. Coloring pigments such as carbon black, phthalocyanine blue, Bengara, synthetic iron oxide yellow, Lake Red, and Hansa Yellow have strong hiding properties, so they should be used in extremely small quantities. Note that a dye may be used instead of the colored pigment. According to experiments, the degree of colorless translucency or colored translucency of a highly viscous coating material suitable for creating a painted surface with a mixed color is determined by the thickness of the highly viscous coating material after drying (paint film thickness). In a test in which a high viscosity coating material is applied on a paper with a high viscosity so that the coating material has a coating of 130μ, and the hiding rate is measured after drying, the hiding rate is in the range of approximately 0.03 to 0.95. It takes. The layer thickness of the highly viscous coating material applied to the surface to be coated is about 0.5 to 5 layers, preferably about 2.5 mm.

With a layer thickness of this level, a beautiful mixed color can be obtained. If the layer thickness is less than 0.5Wi, a beautiful mixed color cannot be obtained, and 5Tfr! When the number is n or more, it is good for mixed colors, but it becomes difficult to perform the painting operation. Applying high viscosity paint is as follows. This can be done using conventional applicators such as spatulas, roller brushes, spray guns, etc. In this way, a translucent layer of highly viscous coating material is formed on the uneven surface to be painted, but before this layer dries and hardens, the highly viscous coating material on the top surface of each convex portion of the surface to be painted is removed. Remove. That is, while the applied high-viscosity coating material is still uncured, remove the high-viscosity coating material from the portion corresponding to the top surface of each convex portion of the surface to be coated using a coating material removal tool such as a trowel or a rubber spatula. Squeeze and remove so that the color of the top surface of the convex portion on the surface to be painted is directly visible. In addition, if some highly viscous coating material remains on the top surface of the convex part due to insufficient ironing, the color of the top surface of the convex part will become unclear depending on the remaining amount, but a multicolored painted surface will still be formed. . However,
After removing the highly viscous coating material on the top surface of the convex portion, the layered highly viscous coating material remaining on the surface to be coated (mainly in the concave portions) is dried and hardened. Next, the color state of the formed painted surface will be explained.

Now, if the hue of the surface to be painted is white and the hue of the high-viscosity coating material is black, the high-viscosity coating material will enter the recesses of the surface to be painted in a layered manner, and the high-viscosity coating material in these areas will have a thick layer. The translucency of the highly viscous coating material softens the white color of the surface to be coated, giving it a black appearance. On the other hand, the top surface of the convex part of the surface to be painted has been removed by applying a high viscosity coating material, and since the high viscosity coating material in this area is extremely thin, it has low concealment and the white color on the top surface is removed. It is visible and has a very pale gray color. Therefore, the painted surface formed has a multicolored pattern that is a combination of black and pale gray. If the shape of the convex part of the surface to be painted has a slope visible from the outside, the top of the slope (external side) is dark black, and the bottom of the slope (inside) is dark white. The result is a multi-colored, blurred finish with no visible boundaries. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

.. Five rectangular asbestos cement boards S1 to S5 are prepared, and a large number of convex portions are formed in a pattern on one side of each board. That is, in this example, on one side of each asbestos cement board S1 to S5, multi-layer pattern spraying material E according to the JIS-K691O standard was applied at a rate of 1.5 kg/CTl from a spraying port with a diameter of 8wn using a mortar gun. Spray in a convex shape with compressed air,
Before the spray material hardens, press and roll the protrusions with a plastic roller until the height of the protrusions is about 112 to 1 B, and then leave to dry naturally for about 2 e. Next, acrylic enamel white (solvent type) is spray-coated on the entire surface side having the formed convex portions, and is dried for about 3 hours to form a white coating surface having convex portions. In addition, although the case where asbestos cement board S1 is treated is shown in the drawing, other asbestos cement boards S2 to S5 are also treated in the same way.

The thick layer 3 of the highly viscous coating material applied to areas other than the top surface 2A is dried and hardened by leaving it to stand for a period of time f to obtain a painted surface with a predetermined multicolored pattern (see FIG. 3). In the multicolored pattern M of the asbestos cement board S1, the portion corresponding to the top surface 2A of the convex portion 1 is an extremely whitish green, the concave portion 2B is dark green, and the slope surface 2C at the boundary between the convex portion 2A and the concave portion 2B is extremely white. It became a blurred hue that was a mixture of green and dark green. In this way, the patterned surface formed had an extremely beautiful finish with a wide variety of variations. The painted surfaces of the other asbestos cement boards S2 to S5 had a beautiful mechanical finish with a rich variation in density. In addition, asbestos semeni coated with colorless and translucent materials D and E? The result was a beautiful finish that made me smile.

That is, as shown in FIG. 4, the surface of the white gypsum board S6 is cut to form convex portions 11 and concave portions 12B, and this surface is used as the surface to be painted. Then, as in the case of the asbestos cement board S1, a thick layer of a highly viscous coating material, for example coating material A, is applied to this surface to be painted, and the coating material A on the top surface 11A of the convex portion 11 is removed ( (During removal, part of the highly viscous coating material on the convex portions 11 may move toward the concave portions 12B.) By curing the remaining coating material A, a multicolored multicolored pattern MA can be formed. . The patterned surface formed in this way is similar to the patterned surface M of the asbestos cement board S1, and the convex portions 1
1 The top surface 11A is extremely whitish green, and the concave portion 12B
is dark green, slope surface 1 at the boundary between the top surface 11A and the recess 12B
2C has a mixed hue of whitish green and dark green,
It turned out to be beautifully colored. As explained above, when forming a pattern with a paint on an uneven surface to be painted, the present invention uses a colorless and semi-transparent high-viscosity coating material or a translucent high-viscosity coating material of a color different from that of the surface to be painted. Since this method removes only the high viscosity coating material from the areas corresponding to the top surfaces of the convex parts, the color of the convex parts is close to that of the surface to be painted, and the color of the high viscosity coating material is obtained in the concave parts. A complex mixed color is obtained at the boundary between the convex portion and the concave portion, and a multicolored pattern phase with a unique texture and high aesthetic value is formed as a whole.

In addition, the present invention applies a highly viscous coating material to an uneven surface to be coated,
Since a multicolored patterned surface can be obtained by removing only the coating material from the portions corresponding to the convex portions, it has the advantage of being easy to apply.
Furthermore, even if the removal of the coating material from the portion corresponding to the convex portion is insufficient, the coating material from that portion can be removed to some extent,
If the thickness of the coating material is smaller than the thickness of the coating material in the concave portion, the color of the surface to be coated will appear washed out, a multicolored effect can be obtained, and failures in construction will not occur.
