この発明は、窯業系化粧外壁材の製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来建築用板材として繊維補強セメント板などの窯業系外壁材が非常に広く使用されている。この繊維補強セメント板は強度にも優れ、同一形状のものが安価に大量生産できるといった利点を有する。

ところで、これら窯業系外壁材は、そのままであると窯業系材料の色彩である灰白色〜灰黒色の無彩色で意匠性に乏しいため、表面に各種塗装を施し、あるいは外壁材表面に各種凹凸を設け、この凹凸模様と彩色塗装を組み合わせることにより意匠性を付与することが行われている。

この、凹凸模様と彩色塗装を組み合わせた表面化粧として、レンガ目地、タイル目地、割り石調などの凹溝を設け、凹溝内と該凹溝で区画される凸部表面とに同一又は異色の彩色塗装を施した態様のものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記化粧は、一般に目地溝を形成した窯業系外壁材の表面に、フローコータ、シャワーコータ、スプレー等で全面に均一塗装を施した後、塗膜乾燥後ロールコータで凸部模様表面のみに異色又は同色の塗装を施し、同色塗装を施した場合はその塗料が乾燥しない間に着色砂粒を散布して塗装面に固定し、余剰の砂粒を除去した後、最後に表面クリヤー塗装を行うといった方法により製造していた。

しかし、上記手段の場合、塗料は凹溝と凸部表面の二種類の彩色化粧しか施せず、例えば天然材を使用したレンガ壁や天然石積壁のような同色ながら微妙に変化する多色状の外観とするには到底困難であった。

この発明は、上記問題を解決するためになされたものであり、二色の塗料を用いながらも、それ以上の種類の彩色を認識させることができ、かつ表面凹凸模様とマッチした状態で大量生産的に着色塗装できる窯業系化粧外壁材の製造方法を得ることを目的としてなされたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明の窯業系化粧外壁材の製造方法は、表面にレンガ目地、タイル目地、割り石調などの凸模様を表す凹溝が設けられ、該凹溝で区画される凸部模様の表面高さが前記凹溝底に対して高低二種の高さとされた窯業系外壁材を成形し、該窯業系外壁材の表面全面に均一塗装を施し、該塗装乾燥後に低硬度ゴム製ロールコータで凸部表面に化粧塗装を行い、高い凸部表面の全面に均一な塗膜を形成し、低い凸部表面にかすれたように部分的な塗膜を形成することを特徴とするものである。

上記において、凸部表面に行う化粧塗装とは、ロールコータにより単一塗装を行いこれを単に乾燥させる場合の他、塗膜未乾燥の内に砂粒を散布し塗膜上に固定する場合を含み、さらに必要に応じ最後にクリヤー塗装を施す場合を含む。

【実施例】
次にこの発明の実施例を説明する。
繊維補強セメント配合材料から、図1に示すように表面に凹溝1と低い凸部模様2、高い凸部模様3の2種の凸部模様を有する外壁材4を成形し、一次養生後この外壁材4を試供品とした。

なお、この外壁材4の凸部模様の内、低い凸部模様2表面のみに微細な凹凸模様2Aを設けた。
参考例1]まず、外壁材4表面全面に下地塗装を施した後、第一の塗装として明灰色の塗装を行い、指触乾燥させた。

次に、高硬度ゴム製ロールコータで暗赤色の塗料を外壁材4表面に塗装し凸部表面を塗装した。この参考例の場合、ロールコータによる塗膜は高い凸部表面3のみに付されたが、低い凸部表面2と凹溝1内部とは同じ色彩の塗料でありながら高低差による陰影により明度の差が生じ、あたかも三色塗装のような外観となった。

参考例1と同様第一の塗装を施し、低硬度ゴム製ロールコータで暗赤色の塗料を外壁材4表面に塗装し凸部表面を塗装した。

以上説明したように、この発明の方法によれば凹溝と高低二種類の凸模様と塗装との組み合わせにより単なる二色塗装以上の複雑な化粧塗装が施すことができ、また実施するに際しても従来と同様な塗装装置を使用でき実施が容易であるなどの効果を有する。
