Description
本発明は建造物表面に設けられた装飾用被覆物
に関するものである。
なお、本発明でいう装飾用被覆物とは、建造物
の表面、例えば、床面や壁面の地肌を美麗な装飾
表面とするために、その地肌に塗装材により塗布
された被覆物を意味する。
従来、建造物表面、例えば、床面や壁面の装飾
仕上げを行うために、その地肌表面に適当な塗装
材を塗布することが行われているが、表面に２色
からなる着色模様の被覆物を形成することは非常
に困難であり、簡単な方法により着色模様の被覆
物を形成し得る技術が強く要望されている。
本発明は、このような要望に応えるべくなされ
たもので、建造物表面に設けられた装飾用被覆物
であつて、該被覆物は、表面凹凸状の塗布層Ａ
と、その塗布層Ａの上に設けられた塗布層Ｂと、
透明トツプコート層とからなり、該塗布層Ａと塗
布層Ｂとは異つた色調に着色され、かつ下部塗布
層Ａは、その多数の凸部の少なくとも一部がその
上部塗布層Ｂの表面に露出し、該被覆物の表面に
は、塗布層Ａの着色と塗布層Ｂの着色からなる装
飾模様が現出されていることを特徴とする建造物
表面に設けられた装飾用被覆物を提供するもので
ある。
次に、本発明を図面により説明する。
図面において、１は建造物表面を形成する床面
又は壁面であり、２はその上に形成されたプライ
マー層（下地塗布層）、Ａはその上に形成された
装飾用塗布層、Ｂはその塗布層Ａの上に形成され
た装飾用塗布層であり、３はその上に形成された
トツプコート層である。
本発明においては、装飾のための塗布層Ａは、
その表面に多数の凹凸が形成され、図面に示すよ
うに、凹凸状になつており、一方、塗布層Ｂは、
塗布層Ａの上に形成され、塗布層Ａの凹部を完全
被覆するように形成されているが、塗布層Ａの多
数の凸部の少なくとも一部はその頂部が塗布層Ｂ
の表面に露出するように形成されている。従つ
て、被覆物の表面には、上部塗布層Ｂの着色と、
塗布層Ｂの表面に露出する下部塗布層Ａの凸部の
着色とからなる２色模様が現出される。なお、こ
の場合の着色模様は、下部塗布層Ａの表面に形成
された凹凸模様によつて適宜選定することができ
る。
塗布層Ａの塗布方法としては、慣用されている
方法、例えばロール塗り、コテ塗りなどが採用さ
れる。この塗布層Ａには凹凸を設けることが必要
であるが、この凹凸の形成は、コテ、ローラなど
の塗装具により塗装と同時に行うことができる
他、塗装後に、表面に凹凸模様を持つ押圧板を塗
装面に押圧することによつて行うことができる。
塗布層Ｂの塗布方法としては、塗布層Ａに関し
て示したような方法が採用される。この場合、下
部塗布層Ａの凸部の少なくとも一部の頂部を塗布
層Ｂ表面に露出させるように塗布することが必要
であるが、このためには、塗布層Ｂの形成に際
し、塗布層Ａの凸部を残し、凹部のみをコテ塗り
により塗装する方法、塗布層Ａの凹凸部全面を塗
布層Ｂで塗装したのち、凸部面をハケなどにより
払拭して、塗布層Ａの凸部を露出させる方法など
がある。また、この塗布層Ｂを形成する場合、そ
の表面は、下部塗布層Ａの凹凸に応じた凹凸面に
形成させることができるし、また、凹部を凸部の
高さにまで塗装して、凹凸が実質的に感じられな
いようなほぼ平面に近い面に形成させることがで
きる。
建造物地肌表面１上に設けられるプライマー層
２は、装飾用塗布層Ａを建造物の地肌表面に強く
固着させるために設けられるもので、その塗装材
は、地肌表面１と塗布層Ａの種類によつて適当に
選定されるが、一般には、エポキシ系、ポリウレ
タン系、アクリル系、ポリエステル系などの合成
樹脂系塗装材が用いられる。
塗布層Ａ及びＢ用の塗装材としては、エポキシ
系、ポリウレタン系、アクリル系、ビニル系、ポ
リエステル系などの合成樹脂系塗装材が用いられ
る。
トツプコート層３は、その下部層である装飾用
塗布層Ａ，Ｂを保護するために形成されるもの
で、透明の被膜形成性のエポキシ系、ポリウレタ
ン系、アクリル系、ビニル系、ポリエステル系な
どのコーテイング材が用いられる。このトツプ層
の表面は、凹凸又は均一の平面であることができ
る。
本発明においては、前記プライマー層及びトツ
プコート層は、必要に応じて省略することができ
る。次に、本発明により建造物の地肌表面に被覆
物を形成する工程と作業条件について具体的に示
す。
