    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 側弁式エンジンＥの吸排気弁１・２寄り位置に燃焼室３
    を、ピストン４寄り位置にスキッシュ空間５を形成し、
    燃焼室３とスキッシュ空間５とを連通してなる側弁式エ
    ンジンの燃焼室において、スキッシュ空間５の周縁部の
    少なくとも燃焼室３から遠く離れる周縁部分７のうち、
    その上面と下面との少なくとも一方に、燃焼による膨張
    ガス流の反転用溝６を形成した事を特徴とする側弁式エ
    ンジンの燃焼室。
