Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate fitting and detaching a printing head and enhance assemblability and operability, by a method wherein a wiring extended from a printing head is connected to a connector substrate, and a connector fitted with the substrate is so constructed that it can be made slidable. CONSTITUTION:Lead wires extended from a driving part of the printing head 8 are connected to the connector substrate 9, which is provided with a fitting surface 11 to be fitted to the connector 10. On the other hand, a head base 12 is provided with a hole 13 into which the fitting surface 11 of the substrate 9 is inserted, and the connector 10 is slidably fitted by small screw or the like to a bottom surface of the hole 13 through a lower part of the head base 12. れたコネクタ7が配置されている。この構成では印字ヘ
ッド1をヘッド支持台3に搭載する際にコネクタ5とコ
ネクタ7とを嵌合させ電気的な結合を行なう。すなわち
この嵌合によって制御回路等からの印字指令がフラット
ケーブル6を通して印字ヘッド1の駆動部へ伝達され、
印字動作が行々われる。
