Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案はオイルパン内に放熱部を設けたエンジンの潤
滑油供給装置に関する。
そしてこの考案の目的とするところはエンジン本体内を
循環する潤滑油を効率よく冷却できるようにしたエンジ
ンの潤滑油供給装を提供して、潤滑効果を高めると同時
に、油の劣化を防止しようとするものである。
以下この考案を図示の一実施例について詳述する。
図において１はエンジン本体で、底部に潤滑油を収容し
たオイルパン２が設けられており、このオイルパン２内
にこの装置の放熱部３が収容されている。
上記放熱部３はエンジン本体１の前後方向に平行するよ
う並設した多数の縦フィン３ａと、これら縦フィン３ａ
と直交する方向に設けた横フィン３ｂを格子状に組合せ
た構造で、縦フィン３ａはオイルパン２内の油面より高
く、また縦フィン３ｂは油面の高さに夫々高さが設定さ
れている。
一方４は送風機で、この送風機４より圧送された冷却風
は、オイルパン２の後部に開口された流入口２ａよりオ
イルパン２内へ流入される。
オイルパン２内に流入された冷却風は各縦フィン３ａの
間を通過する際、放熱部３を介してオイルパン２内の潤
滑油を冷却するようになっている。
また縦フィン３ａを通過した冷却風はオイルパン２前部
に開口された流出口２ｂよりオイルセパレータ５を経て
大気へ放出されると共に、オイルセパレータ５により冷
却風から分離された油は戻り管６を経てオイルパン２へ
環流される。
なおオイルパン２内の油はオイルポンプによりエンジン
本体１の各部へ循環されているが、説明及び図は省略す
る。
この考案は以上詳述したように、オイルパン２内に冷却
風により冷却される放熱部３を設けたことから、従来の
ようなオイルクーラを必要とせず、オイルクーラを設置
するためのスペースも不用である。
またオイルパン２内の潤滑油は放熱部３により冷却され
ているため、過熱することがなく、これによって安定し
た潤滑効果が得られると共に、早期に劣化するなどの虞
れもない。

２図は放熱部の斜視図である。 １はエンジン本体、２はオイルパン、３は放熱部。

  1. エンジン本体１底部のオイルパン２内に、一部を油中に
    浸漬して放熱部３を設けると共に、上記放熱部３をオイ
    ルパン２内に送風した冷却風で冷却してなるエンジンの
    潤滑油冷却装置。
