Generally, air conditioners that have air intake or outlet ports on the top or front are often installed in corners of rooms where the back and sides of the main unit are close to walls, so the top plate must be removed for maintenance and inspection. It is configured so that it can be removed from the front of the air conditioner.

以下第1図に示す従来のこの種の空気調和装置について
説明する。
The conventional air conditioner of this type shown in FIG. 1 will be explained below.

In the figure, 1 is the main body of the air conditioner, and the upper surface of the underframe 4, which is made by welding side plates 2, 2' and rear plate 3 in a U-shape, is covered with a top plate 5, and the front side includes an operation panel 6 and an air outlet grill 7. , a suction grill 8 and a front decorative panel 9, and the sides are covered with side decorative panels 10 and 10' to form an external shape.

Indoor air sucked into the cabin from the suction grill 8 passes through a filter 11 for removing dust placed at the rear of the suction port.
The air enters the blower through the suction port 13 of the blower 12, is given energy by the blades 12' inside the blower, and is discharged from the discharge port 14 to the upper part of the blower.

In the middle of the air path, a heat exchanger 15 consisting of a vibrator through which cold water or hot water passes and fins in close contact with a pipe is arranged to effectively exchange heat between the cold water or hot water and the surrounding air. The air discharged from the discharge port 14 is cooled or heated and returned to the room through the outlet grille 7 to cool or heat the room.

Now, in the air conditioner configured as described above, the top plate 5 is attached to the rear of the top plate as shown in FIGS. A folded part 16 is provided on a part of the edge, and a bent part 17 is provided above the rear plate 3 of the underframe so that the folded part 16 of the rear edge of the top plate can be inserted. A portion where the front edge portion corresponds to the upper front edge of the underframe side plate 2 is screwed with a set screw 18.

This method of fastening the top plate requires a complicated locking part, and the bottom surface of the top plate itself may be damaged if a person sits on the air conditioner or places luggage on top and a load is applied to the top. Since the top plate has no support, it may bend downward, or direct force is applied to the locking part, causing deformation of the top plate, so a considerable amount of strength is required.

In addition, the top plate rear edge bent portion 16 and the locking portion above the underframe rear plate have a gap between them to facilitate attachment and detachment.
When operating an air conditioner, vibrations from the blower could be transmitted and generate noise.

This idea was devised to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks; it allows for easy installation and removal of the top plate from the front, eliminates noise generation due to vibration of the top plate, and allows air to be used with a large allowable load on the top plate. It provides a harmonizing device.

以下、第5図〜第7図に示すこの考案の一実施例につい

In addition, the underframe side plates 2 and 2' have cushioning material 21 pasted on their upper edges, and the dimensional relationship is shown below when the top plate 5 is secured to the underframe rear plate 3 and held horizontally. The upper edge of the side plate of the underframe is slightly lower than the position 5', and the cushioning material pasted thereon is higher.

How to stop the top plate of an air conditioner configured in this way,
First, the elongated hole 19 on the rear edge of the top plate is locked to the rear plate protrusion 20 of the underframe, and the top plate 5 is rotated as if it were a hinge plate using the locked part as a fulcrum, and the back side 5' of the top plate is used to provide cushioning. The material 21 is pressed down, the screw hole 22 on the front edge of the top plate is aligned with the screw hole 23 on the front edge of the underframe side plate, and screwed with the screw 18.

Further, when removing the top plate 5 for maintenance, inspection, etc. after the air conditioner is installed, the reverse operation may be performed.

Since the top plate fixed in this manner has its lower part supported by the side plates of the underframe, it is strong against loads from the top, so the strength of the top plate itself does not need to be very strong.

In addition, due to the elasticity of the cushioning material 21, the top plate 5 is always subjected to upward lifting force. Therefore, even if there is some clearance between the elongated hole 19 and the protrusion 20, the vibration of the blower during operation of the air conditioner will not be transmitted and noise will not be generated.

In the above embodiment, a hole is provided at the rear edge of the top plate, and the protrusion of the rear plate of the underframe is engaged with this hole.
The present invention is not limited to this, and similar effects can be obtained by providing a protrusion 24 on the rear edge of the top plate and engaging the protrusion 24 with a hole 25 in the rear plate of the underframe, as shown in FIG.

With this invention as described above, the rear edge of the top plate is locked to the upper part of the underframe plate, the top plate is supported by the cushioning material provided on the upper surface of the side plates of the underframe, and the front edge of the top plate is fixed to the upper part of the underframe plate. Since the top plate is fixed to the front part of the frame using a fixing device, it is easy to attach and detach from the front side of the top plate, and since the top plate is reinforced by the side plates of the underframe, its allowable load is increased, or the top plate and the back of the underframe are The gap at the engaging portion with the plate is absorbed by the action of the cushioning material, and there is an effect that no noise is generated from the retaining portion even if vibrations from a blower or the like are transmitted to the top plate during operation.
