In the case where the heat exchange guard is fixed by screws using the stoppers, there is an advantage that maintenance work can be performed because the guards can be removed, but a large number of stoppers and screws are required. In addition to the increase in the number of parts, there is also a problem in that it takes time and effort when attaching and detaching, so that assembling work and maintenance work cannot be performed quickly.

According to a first aspect of the present invention, an outdoor fan is provided in a ventilation path between an intake port and an exhaust port provided in an outer box. In the heat exchanger protection device of the outdoor unit, a heat exchanger is arranged on the mouth side, and a heat exchange guard formed in a lattice shape using a steel wire is attached to the intake port opposite to the heat exchanger. The outer shape of the heat exchange guard is formed slightly larger than the opening of the intake port, and the opening has a plurality of engagements at a required interval with all other inner peripheral edges except the upper inner peripheral edge thereof. A plurality of engaging projections are formed on the outer peripheral edge of the heat exchange guard at positions opposed to the respective engaging holes, and a plurality of engaging projections are formed on the outer peripheral edge at an upper portion of the outer peripheral edge. A plurality of pieces having a length such that the top end thereof abuts on the upper surface of the heat exchanger and the top plate of the outer box in a combined state. When the heat exchange guard is attached, a pressing force is applied toward the center to slightly curve the heat exchange guard so that the outer shape is slightly smaller than the opening. The engaging projection is inserted and engaged with the engaging hole, and the locking projection is inserted between the upper surface of the heat exchanger and the top plate of the outer box.

As shown by a chain line in FIG. 4, two engagement holes 9c formed below the inner peripheral edge 9b of the opening 9a are provided.
The engagement protrusions 15a to 15c of the heat exchange guard 15 are engaged. Subsequently, two engagement holes 9 formed on both sides of the inner peripheral edge 9b of the opening 9a
The engagement projections 15d and 15e of the heat exchange guard 15 are engaged with c. At this time, three locking projections 15f to 15h provided at the upper part of the outer peripheral edge of the heat exchange guard 15 are inserted between the upper surface 11a of the heat exchanger 11 and the lower surface 4a of the top plate 4, and Is brought into contact with both 4a and 11a.

When the pressing force applied to the heat exchange guard 15 is deactivated in this state, the five engagement projections 15a to 15e and the three locking projections 15f to 15f are generated by the restoring force of the heat exchange guard 15. 15h is pushed out. Therefore, each of the engagement protrusions 15a to 15e is strongly engaged with the engagement hole 9c, and each of the engagement protrusions 15f to 15h is between the upper surface 11a of the heat exchanger 11 and the top plate 4 of the outer box 2. It is elastically locked.

As a result, the heat exchange guard 15 is firmly held between the inlet 9 and the heat exchanger 11. In this state, the curved portions of the vertical wire 16 and the horizontal wire 17 come into contact with the front surface of the heat exchanger 11, and rattling is prevented. Further, when the outdoor blower fan 14 rotates and the vibration is transmitted to the outer box 2, the heat exchange guard 15 does not resonate and the swing of the heat exchanger 11 is also suppressed, so that generation of abnormal noise is prevented. On the other hand, when removing the heat exchange guard 15, the heat exchange guard 15 is pressed toward the center from the outer portion thereof, and the heat exchange guard 15 is slightly curved so that the outer shape is changed to the opening of the intake port 9. Pull out the upper part while making it slightly smaller than the part 9a. Then, the three locking projections 15f to 15h are separated from the outer box 2, and the left and right engagement projections 15d and 15e are pulled out from the respective engagement holes 9c. Next, when the heat exchange guard 15 is pulled upward, the lower engagement protrusions 15a to 15c are pulled out from the engagement holes 9c, and the heat exchange guard 15 can be removed. As described above, since the heat exchange guard 15 is easily attached and detached, the assembling is simplified, and the maintenance work can be easily performed.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the heat exchange guard is attached to the intake port of the outer box, the pressing force is applied in the direction of the center and the entirety of the opening is slightly curved. The heat exchange guard is placed between the air inlet and the heat exchanger by engaging the engagement projection with the mating hole and abutting the locking projection between the top surface of the heat exchanger and the top plate of the outer box. The heat exchange guard that protects the heat exchanger is extremely easy to install, and the manufacturing process is greatly simplified compared to screwing and welding. Has an effect. Further, since the attachment and detachment of the heat exchange guard is easy, there is an advantage that maintenance work can be easily performed.

1. An outdoor fan is disposed in a ventilation path between an intake port and an exhaust port provided in an outer box, and a heat exchanger is disposed on the intake port side. In a heat exchanger protection device for an outdoor unit in which a heat exchange guard formed in a lattice shape using a steel wire is attached to a mouth, an outer shape of the heat exchange guard is formed to be slightly larger than an opening of the intake port. In this opening, a plurality of engagement holes are formed at predetermined intervals on all the inner peripheral edges except the upper portion of the inner peripheral edge, and the outer peripheral edge of the hot hole guard is provided with each of the engaging holes. A plurality of engaging projections are protruded at positions facing the mating holes, and the upper surface of the heat exchanger and the top of the outer box are provided on the outer peripheral edge in a state where the engaging projections are engaged with the engaging holes. When providing a plurality of locking projections having a length that the tip side abuts on the plate, when attaching the heat exchange guard, Applying a pressing force toward the center, the heat exchange guard is slightly curved to make the outer shape slightly smaller than the opening, and the engaging projection is inserted into the engaging hole, and the locking is performed. A heat exchanger protection device for an outdoor unit, wherein a projection is inserted between an upper surface of a heat exchanger and a top plate of an outer box.
