Abstract

PURPOSE:To coat advantageously the surface of a transparent resin molding having a print layer with a cured silicone resin film having good appearance, by providing a primer coat, a specified print layer and a cured silicone resin layer in that order on the surface of a transparent resin molding. CONSTITUTION:A primer coat and an ink coat layer are provided in that order on the surface of a transparent resin molding. Further, a silicone resin for surface hardening is applied thereto and cured. Examples of the paints and ink for plastics are acrylic paint or ink and epoxy resin silk screen ink. This ink has good adhesin to the primer coat for the silicone resin for surface hardening. Further, this ink is not dissolved out of the surface so that when printing is made with the epoxy resin silk screen ink, the printed surface can be directly coated with a priming paint without any masking treatments and the primer coat can be then coated with the silicone resin for surface hardening.

Furthermore, a method has been considered in which the transparent resin molding is directly painted or printed and then a surface-curing silicone resin is applied thereon, but this method C uses ordinary acrylic resin for painting and printing. Plastic use of resin tongue
31 or when ink is used, it increases the density of the surface-curing silicone resin, so it easily dissolves in the primer paint used as an undercoat, and it tends to dissolve at the paint border or cause printed characters to bleed. There was a problem.

This ink has good stoneability compared to the surface-curing silicone-based resin primer paint described above, but it does not elute and leak, so it is suitable for printing on epoxy resin-based silk ink. If this is done, a primer paint can be applied directly on top of this without any masking treatment, and then a surface-curing silicone resin can be applied on top of that.Printing with epoxy resin silk ink Curing of the coating layer requires heat treatment at a temperature of about 90 to 120°C, but if acrylic resin or polycarbonate resin is used as the base resin, it can sufficiently withstand this temperature.
