Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an Al material with two or more patterned colors which is durable and whose tones are unique in simple stages, by enamelting an Al material surface throughout which has been anodized, printing a pattern thereof in pigment inks, and applying a finish coat thereon.
CONSTITUTION: An Al (alloy) material is treated to have an anodized film. An enamel containing pigments having desired tones is applied thereon to form a uniform colored coat. Then a desired pattern is formed by printing in pigment inks good in adhesive to said coat. Thereafter, use is made of a paint good in adhesive to the base coat and the pigment inks to form a finish coat. According to this method, the pigments and coats hardly peel off, and a colored pattern of which tones are stable for a long period can be obtained.
