A conventional facsimile machine of this type has a copying structure as shown in the perspective view of FIG. According to this example, the transmission original 1 set on the top surface of the apparatus is inserted into the apparatus in the direction of arrow A, and is seen at the position of the line segment 2a where the reading main scan by the Harahashi reader 2 is performed. The scanned original is sent in the direction of arrow c, is ejected through the ejection port 3, and is then stored in the storage space 4 as the transmitted original 5. On the other hand.
The received recording paper wound around the roll 6 is unwound in the direction of arrow B during recording, and is recorded at the position of the line segment 7a where the recording head 7 performs the main recording scan. The recorded reception recording paper is discharged through the discharge port 3 in the direction of the arrow C, and is stored in the storage space 4 as the reception completed recording paper 8. In this way, the transmitted originals 5 and the received recording sheets 8 are alternately stacked one by one in the storage space 4. However, in the conventional facsimile machine as described above, the center point of the line segment 2a formed by the main scan and the center point of the line segment 7a formed by the recording main scan are the end of transmission document and the end of reception text. Since the direction of flow of the recording paper is almost the same, the first
As can be seen in the figure, the transmitted original document 5 and the received completed recording paper 8 are stored almost completely overlapping each other, and the operator has no trouble separating the transmitted original document 5 and the received completed recording paper 8. This method has the disadvantage of not only being difficult to use, but also wasting time.

According to the present invention, a transmitted original document that has been sent and a received received recording sheet that have been sent through a transmitting section and a receiving section that are provided at different locations inside the apparatus are transferred to a single storage location through respective transfer paths. In a facsimile machine configured to eject documents while stacking them, the width of the transport path for the transmitted documents and the width of the transport path for the received recording sheets are respectively equal to the line segment formed by the reading main scan of the transmitter and the receiver. It is determined in accordance with the line segment made by the recording main scan of the section,
These transport passages align the flow direction of the transmitted original document and the received recording paper in a vertical positional relationship,
The center lines of the widths of the respective passages are formed so as to be offset from each other in parallel with each other in the flow direction, and at the confluence of the transported original document that has been sent and the recording sheet that has been received, the two partially overlap each other. It is characterized by being discharged into one fixed storage location in a divided state.

As seen in this figure, the difference from the conventional example shown in Figure 1 is that the respective widths of the transmitted original and the received recording paper are determined by the line segment 2a formed by the reading main scan and the line segment 7a formed by the recording main scan. However, in the flow direction of the transmitted original document and the received recording paper, they partially overlap each other, and the center points of their respective widths are shifted from each other in the flow direction. As a result, the transmission original 1 inserted in the direction of the arrow EOA is discharged to the storage location 4 as shown by the arrow C. On the other hand, the received recording paper wound around the roll 6 is unwound and advances in the direction shown by the arrow B, and is discharged to the storage location 4 as shown by the arrow C2. According to such a configuration, the center point of the width of the transmitted document determined by the line segment 2a formed by the reading main scan and the center point of the width of the received recording paper determined by the line segment 7a formed by the recording main scan are two points. Since they are shifted from each other in the direction of paper flow, the ejected transmission-completed original 5 and reception-completed recording paper 8 are stored with their negative parts overlapping each other. FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the separation operation of the transmitted original document and the received recording paper obtained by the apparatus of FIG. 2.

As seen in this figure, the transmitted original document 5 and the received recorded recording paper 8 taken out from the storage space 4 are grasped by the operator's hands at their non-overlapping parts and pulled in the direction of arrow D. As shown in the figure, it can be easily separated. As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the transmitted original document and the received recording paper can be obtained in a partially overlapping state at the ejected storage location. Not only does it make it easier to separate paper from recording paper, but it also has great effects in terms of eliminating wasted time.
