Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a crankshaft from being deformed upon assembling, by dividing a crank casing in the direction of the crankshaft, into two sections, and as well by attaching an outer race to the crankcase while an inner race is press- fitted onto the crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A crank casing is laterally divided in the directioon of a crankshaft onto which an inner race 3 is press-fitted, and is attached thereto with an outer race 4. A ball rolling groove 6 in the inner race 3 has such a curved surface that it has a radius R of curvature which is larger than the radius (r) of rolling balls 5, and has a gap of the dimension which allows the rolling balls 5 to pass from the right side to left side of the center normal vertical line of the ball 5. With this arrangement, it is possible to prevent the crankshaft from being deformed upon assembling.
