Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a low-costed remodeling for converting a 40' container hold into a 20' container hold by providing 20' container cell guides erected at the central portions of 40' container cell guides and fixing through wire-ropes the guides to the 40' container cell guides opposing thereto. CONSTITUTION:20' container cell guides 10 are erected at the central portions between existing 40' container cell guides 9 and 9 arranged transversely so as to allow loading of 20' containers in two rows between the transversely arranged cell guides 9. The cell guide 10 is composed of four cell angle bars 2 vertically extending in parallel in minute spaced relationship with one another, and has an entry guide 1 of cruciform and angle section projecting from the upper end thereof up to a height slightly lower than the height of the cell guide 9 (by about 500mm.). The cell guides 10 are fixed through a vertical single steel plate laterally extending through the upper ends of the cell guides 10 longitudinally opposing to one another, and also fixed at the portions near the upper ends and central portions thereof to the cell guides 9 through transversely extending horizontal beams 3 and wire-ropes 6 with turnbuckles 7.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for renovating a container ship.
When converting a 40' container hold to a 20'-only hold, conventionally, as shown in Figure 2 - Longitudinal sectional view, the cell structure for the newly installed 20' container is a box-shaped structure, so the 40' 1. It is necessary to relocate the front or rear cell structure of the container cell structure to secure a space for two 20' containers in tandem, and for this reason, the 40' cell structure relocation work is required as extra work.1. At that time, a new 20' box girder will be installed in the center of the 40' compartment and a cell guide will be attached to it, so the cell guide can be installed by weaving the reinforcing material for the cell structure for either the front or rear 40' container. Since it will be relocated and installed, there will be almost no entry guide support plate at this time.
Also, the entry guide of the new 20' box girder is at the same height as the 40' cell structure.

The present invention has been proposed in view of the above circumstances, and it is possible to install a newly installed 20' cell structure without relocating the existing 40' cell structure, and to make it possible to load or load 20' containers into the hold. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for renovating a container ship that provides a clearance that does not impede unloading work from inside the hold.

To this end, the present invention provides an entry having a cross-shaped and chevron-shaped cross section at the upper end in the center of the existing front and rear cell guides for 40' containers when a container ship is renovated into a 40' container hold. When the guides are installed protrudingly, a plurality of cell guides for 20' containers are newly installed which have a slightly lower height than the cell guides for 40' containers, and the upper ends of each of the cell guides for newly installed 20' containers that are adjacent to each other on the left and right face each other. They are fixed to each other through vertical monolithic plates extending in the left and right directions, and the upper ends and intermediate parts of each of the new 20' container cell guides are connected to each other through horizontal beams and turnbuckled wire ropes extending in the front and rear directions. An embodiment of the present invention, which is characterized in that it is fixed to the cell guides for the existing 40' containers facing each other, will be explained with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. A longitudinal sectional view along IV, FIG. 5 is a perspective view of FIG. 4, and FIG. 6 is a perspective view of FIG. 5.

The cell guide 10 for a 20' container consists of four vertical cell angles 2 that are parallel to each other with minute intervals, and an entry guide 1 that is cross-shaped and has a chevron-shaped cross section is protruded from the upper end of the cell angle 2, and its height is 40'. 'It is lowered by about 500 mm than the height of the container cell guide 9, and its upper end is fixed to the upper end of the adjacent 20' container cell guide 10 facing left and right through a transverse vertical steel plate 4 extending in the left and right direction, and The vicinity of the upper end and the middle part are fixed to the front and rear existing cell guides 9 for 40' containers via the horizontal beam 3 extending in the front-rear direction and wire ropes with turnbuckles 7.

Here, the wire rope 6 with a turnbuckle is stretched between the eye plate 5 protruding from the cell guide 10 for a 20' container and the eye plate 8 protruding from the cell guide 9 for a 40' container. Depending on the degree of tightening of the buckle 7, the gap is finely adjusted to allow the container to pass through the length between the 20' cells.

By placing the 20' container entry guide 1 at a position approximately 500 meters lower than the existing 40' container entry guide L, when inserting the 20' container, the container first hits the existing 40' entry guide 1', reducing the impact. After that, we added a new 20 to 20' Entry Guide 1.
'This is to prevent damage to the entry guide 1.

According to such a modification method, by making the lateral support member of the newly installed 20' cell structure into a monotonous plate structure, the existing 40' cell structure can be
It is possible to establish a cell structure for a 20′ container between the 12° 192 mm length of a 40′ container and the 12° 116 cage length of two 20′ containers, which is a 16 mm difference without relocating the cell structure. In this case, it is possible to store two vertical rows of 20' containers. Also, even if you want to convert a 20' container bay to a 40' container bay, simply remove the cell structure for 20' containers. It is possible to revert to a 40' container-only hold with only a single step, reducing construction time and construction costs.

The present invention is industrially extremely useful because it provides a low-cost method for renovating a container ship from a 40' container hold to a 20' container hold by fixing the cell guides to the existing 40' container cell guides facing each other. It is something.
