As an electrolytic capacitor suitable for design, a dual power supply [1 capacitor] has recently been developed and put into practical use.

An electrolytic capacitor for two power supplies, in which capacitor elements are placed in separate chambers, is wound with electrolytic paper between the anode electrode foil and the cathode electrode foil, to which lead plates 1 and 2 are connected, as shown in Figure 2. The rotated capacitor element 3 is inserted into a capacitor case 9 having two chambers after injecting the element fixing material 10, and the external terminals 4, 5. 4' and 5' are connected, a sealing plate 11 is fitted and sealed, and the structure has two electrolytic capacitors in the same case. External terminals 5 and 4', which have a potential of 0 (zero), were connected as [F] terminals using lead wires 12a, etc., but recently, external terminals 5 and 4', which become E terminals, have been connected. An electrolytic capacitor for two power supplies as shown in FIG. 4 with a common external terminal 12b is generally used.

There is a significant difference in sound quality between the electrolytic capacitor for dual power supplies and the electrolytic capacitor for dual power supplies connected with the common external terminal 12b as shown in Fig. 4. You can get sound quality close to the natural sound with no distortion.

In the electrolytic capacitor for two power supplies in the connection method shown in Fig. 3, external terminal 4 - capacitor element - external terminal 5 - [F] It can be seen that a minute current flowing through the section [F] - external terminal 4' - capacitor element - external terminal 5' occurs simultaneously.

Since the current that flows further, the current that flows from the rectifier side to the load side, etc. crosses the entire terminal in a disorderly manner, various distortions naturally occur, which is thought to be the cause of poor sound quality.
