Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a suction air flow passage takable long enough in a simple structure, by installing an air cleaner in position adjoining to the rear side of a fuel tank, while forming the suction air flow passage, leading to the air cleaner, in a joining surface between them. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 13 is set up in position between a fuel tank 11 and a seat 12, and it is connected to a suction part of an engine 9 via a suction pipe and a carburetor 15. A concave groove 18 extending over vertical directions is formed in an outer surface of the tank 11 on a joining surface between the fuel tank 11 and the air cleaner 13, while a suction air flow passage 19 is made up of the concave groove 18 and an outer surface of the air cleaner 13. A lower end of the suction air flow passage 19 is opened to the outside, and the upper end is interconnected to a suction hole 17. Outside air is led into this suction hole 17 by way of the suction air flow passage 19, and in time of passing through an element 13b, it is filtered clean and inhaled in the engine 9 by way of the suction pipe 14 and the carburetor 15.

途の管材を用いることなく燃料タンクとエアクリーナー
の接合面を有効利用して形成されたものであるため、こ
の吸気流通路は簡素に構成される。
