Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent sand or the like raked up by a wheel from being inhaled into an air cleaner, by setting up the air cleaner in position between a fuel tank and a seat. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner 13 is set up in position between a fuel tank 11 and a seat 12. This air cleaner 13 is connected to a suction part of an engine 9 via a suction pipe 14 and a carburetor 15. A cleaner case 13a of the air cleaner 13 should be made of plastics, while it is formed into an inversed U-shaped structure like the fuel tank 11, and formed so as to go along a rear surface of the fuel tank 11. In the cleaner case 13a, there is provided a suction hole 17 in a lower surface of the central part in the wheel width direction, while one end of the suction pipe 14 is connected to each lower end at both sides of the cleaner case 13a.

て車両の安定性が低下するおそれもある。

たれる。そして、この場合、燃料タンクとシートは幅寸
法や上下寸法が十分に大きいものであるため、エアクリ
ーナーの容量を十分に大きく採ることができ、従って、
このエアクリーナーによってエンジンの吸気騒音を効果
的に低減させることができる。
