ム1に対接するように案内するガイド板2、トナー像を
転写紙に転移せしめるための転写極3、これに続いて転
写紙をドラム1の表面から分離するための第1除電極4
およびその下流側に設けた転写紙送り機構5の四者をこ
の順序で一対の相対向する側板6に組込んで一体の搬送
ユニット7を構成せしめである。転写極3および第1除
電極4は前記側板間に設けたレール等の案内手段(#照
記号なし)を介して、着脱可能になっている。また図示
の如くガイド板2の左端から転写紙送り機構5にかけて
作られる搬送路はは!水平であるように構成した。第1
除電極4は特に薄い転写紙を使用する場合有用である前
記転写紙送り機構5は、図示の例においては上面平担移
動路を含む移動路に沿って移動される複数のゴムベルト
8と、このゴムベルト8を装架した駆動ローラ9を含む
ローラ群と、上m1移動路のゴムベルト8上に位置され
た転写紙を吸引するためのサクヨンボックス10とより

は、前記搬送ユニット7の下方であって、ドラム中心に
対して左側にズした位置に回動軸12を回動自在に設け
、この回動軸12には外方に突出するカムレバー13(
押し上げ手段)を固設すると共にこのカムレバー13の
直上方に位置するよう板バネ14を有する支持部材15
を前記側板6の下縁に固定し、前記カムレバー13を起
立−せしめることにより搬送ユニット7を重力に抗して
所定の位置に上昇せしめ得るようにし、また前記回動軸
12の端部には操作レバー(図示せず)を固設する。一
方、前記側板6には、搬送ユニット7の上流側、即ち転
写紙送り様宿と反対側の搬送ユニットの端部において上
方に突出する突部16を形成すると共に、この突部16
の上端面が当接される位置規制部材17を前記機枠側板
11に両案する。そして前記カムレバー13が上方に起
立した状態において突部16が位置規制部材17に当接
し、板バネ14が多少変位して支持部材15を介してカ
ムレバー13により搬送ユニット7が固定状態に支持さ
れるようにする。図から明らかなように転写電極3から
回動支点、すなわち軸91 までの長さは電極3から保
合部、すなわち突部16までの長さよりも大きくなって
いる。換言すれば軸9/ はドラムから離れた位置にあ
るのでユニット落下時に大きなスペース形成が可能であ
り、−突部1(5はドラムの近傍で係合するのでドラム
表面に対する電極の位置等を正確に設定できることにな
