しめられた後原稿画像が露光され、これにより形
成された静電潜像が図示しない現像装置により現
像されトナー像が形成される。本発明において
は、前記ドラム1上のトナー像を転写紙に転写す
べき領域において、複写機の給紙部から矢印Aで
示すように送られて来る転写紙の搬送方向からみ
てドラム1に対接するように案内するガイド板
2、トナー像を転写紙に転移せしめるための転写
極3、これに続いて転写紙をドラム1の表面から
分離するための第1除電極4およびその下流側に
設けた転写紙送り機構5の四者をこの順序で一対
の相対向する側板6に組込んで一体の搬送ユニツ
ト7を構成せしめてある。転写極3および第1除
電極4は前記側板間に設けたレール等の案内手段
(参照記号なし)を介して、着脱可能になつてい
る。また図示の如くガイド板2の左端から転写紙
送り機構5にかけて作られる搬送路はほゞ水平で
あるように構成した。第1除電極4は特に薄い転
写紙を使用する場合有用である。前記転写紙送り
機構5は、図示の例においては上面平坦移動路を
含む移動路に沿つて移動される複数のゴムベルト
8と、このゴムベルト8を装架した駆動ローラ9
を含むローラ群と、上面移動路のゴムベルト8上
に位置された転写紙を吸引するためのサクヨンボ
ツクス10とより成るものである。そして前記搬
送ユニツト7の一方の端部、即ち下流側上部に位
置し且つ側板6の外面から突出する前記駆動ロー
ラ9の軸9′を複写機の機枠側板11に枢支せし
めて前記搬送ユニツト7全体を前記軸9′の周り
に回動自在に支持する。また前記機枠側板11に
は、前記搬送ユニツト7の下方であつて、ドラム
中心に対して左側にズレた位置に回動軸12を回
動自在に設け、この回動軸12には外方に突出す
るカムレバー13を固設すると共にこのカムレバ
ー13の直上方に位置するよう板バネ14を有す
る支持部材15を前記側板6の下縁に固定し、前
記カムレバー13を起立せしめることにより搬送
ユニツト7を重力に抗して所定の位置に上昇せし
め得ようにし、また前記回動軸12の端部には操
作レバー(図示せず)を個設する。一方、前記側
板6には搬送ユニツト7の上流側、即ち、転写紙
送り機構と反対側の搬送ユニツトの端部において
上方に突出する突部16を形成すると共に、この
突部16の上端面が当接される位置規制部材17
を前記機枠側板11に固定する。そして前記カム
レバー13が上方に起立した状態において突部1
6が位置規制部材17に当接し、板バネ14が多
少変位して支持部材15を介してカムレバー13
により搬送ユニツト7は固定状態に支持されるよ
うにする。図から明らかなように転写電極3から
回動支点、すなわち軸9′までの長さは電極3か
ら係合部、すなわち突部16までの長さよりも大
きくなつている。換言すれば軸9′はドラムから
離れた位置にあるのでユニツト落下時に大きなス
ペース形成が可能であり、突部16はドラム近傍
で係合するのでドラム表面に対する電極の位置等
