Moreover, it was very time-consuming. Furthermore, since a large amount of water that is not needed is thrown away, there is also a problem in terms of saving resources. Particularly, since such floating substances are discharged from various places such as sinks and washstands, the loss of water resources is large, and this is becoming a problem that cannot be ignored from the perspective of resource depletion. Therefore, it was desired to solve this problem as soon as possible. The present invention meets these demands, and an embodiment of the present invention will be explained below by applying it to a bath.

In this overflow device, when the operating lever 17 is pulled up to open the on-off valve 14, the floating objects floating in the bathtub 1 are transported together with water from the overflow port 9 via the Sekiguchi 6 and 7 to the overflow pipe. 8 and is directly drained through a drainage box 11 and a drainage pipe 12.

At this time, since the overflow port 9 is located only slightly below the water level A of the water in the bathtub 1, the amount of water that flows in together with floating objects is very small.

This overflow port 9 is held by floats 10 and 10' and moves up and down as the water level A moves up and down, so even if the water level A rises or falls, it is always located slightly below the water level A. This prevents the water level A from falling and floating matter not being able to be discharged, and conversely from rising and causing excess water to be discharged. In other words, no matter where the water level A is, floating matter can always be disposed of by discharging the minimum amount of water.
Although not explained in the above embodiment, if the water level detection box 5, drain box 11, operating lever 17, etc. are attached to a single chassis to form a unit, the attachment method can be changed depending on the shape and material of the bathtub. By considering only the above, it is possible to incorporate it into the bathtub just by drilling holes.

In other words, even a bathtub that has already been installed can be easily installed with simple processing. In addition, it can be installed in water tanks other than bathtubs, such as sinks and washstands, and its range of applications is extremely wide. As described above, according to the present invention, floating matter floating near the water surface can be efficiently discharged, and the discharge can be carried out efficiently regardless of increases or decreases in the water level, resulting in large and medium savings in water resources. It has great industrial value, such as the fact that it becomes possible.
