It is often done. In other words, signal lamps are installed at both ends of the nine one-way traffic sections, and when the lamp on the first direction side displays a green light to allow traffic from the first direction, the lamp on the second direction side displays a green signal. The idea is to display a green light and stop traffic from the second direction in order to facilitate vehicle traffic. Traffic signals used temporarily for such purposes naturally require the same system as permanently installed traffic signals, but for transportation and handling purposes, it is necessary to install between the lights installed at both ends of the equipment necessary for the system Must be connected with a cable. If the one-way traffic section is a few tens of meters long, it is not a big problem to lay the cable, but if it is more than a few hundred meters long, the work of transporting, bringing in, and laying the cable becomes troublesome. If there are obstacles along the way, it may not be possible to simply detour the cable, and special construction may be required to lay the cable.

A step signal in the second direction transmitted from the first body 1a side is introduced into the receiver 20 via the power line 10, the matching transformer 19 of the receiving section 6, and then the control signal via the code demodulator 21. The control signal is used to operate the lamp opening/closing circuit 22 to turn on the second direction signal lamp 7 (blue lamp 2G or red lamp 2R). Note that 23 is a latch circuit provided before the lamp opening/closing circuit 22. The latch circuit 23 is a circuit for keeping the signal lighting 70 on continuously when the step signal in the second direction is interrupted. Figure 4 shows an example of the staircase displayed by both signal lights.

Excellent effects can be obtained as traffic signals temporarily installed on roads under construction. Of course, the present invention is not limited to temporarily installed traffic signals, but can also be applied to lighting equipment wiring for general traffic signals, interlocking between intersections having relatively short distances, and the like.
